Villa chez Fred - Entire Place

😊: Location is good close to centre. 😢: Host not communicative, other reviews mentioned this as well. TV remotes did not work, we went without Wi-Fi as details not supplied and all written communication is in French. No towels or soap supplied. No bedside lamps. Street hard to find because there is no street sign. Worst of all the bedrooms are upstairs and toilet downstairs with a steep narrow staircase without handrails, dangerous particularly in the middle of the night. We expected more in a town that was liberated by our New Zealand ancestors..

😊: Good location, clean and accessible.. 😢: We arrived in the middle of the heat wave. The property was advertised as having air-conditioning. All controllers were missing, queries were made with the owners asking for them but it wasn’t until we spoke with a member from the NZ museum on day 2 of our stay who rang the owners and we finally got some assistance from the owners. We had to take a mattress downstairs and use a couch for sleeping due to the upstairs heat..

😊: The size was more than enough for 2 people.. 😢: The wrong code was Emailed to us so unable to get in, after 2.5 hrs we in 36 deg temp we finally made contact and got correct code. Then none of the AC units, it was too 🔥 🥵 Also need instruction sheets in ENGLISH.
