Villa de Charme avec piscine, proche de Cassis et des plages

The villa is as described and fully equipped I’ve never stayed anywhere with more kit.Good position surrounded by other quality villas which you don’t see due to the surrounding trees.Very secure parking 10 minutes walking to the Boulangerie 10 minutes by car to La Ciotat and the beach.Ginger and Jean Claude where generous with a welcoming gift and drinksWould definitely recommend it to anyone

Ginger and JC were brilliant! They were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived later than expected due to problems with our flight, they kindly had a pizza and a bottle of wine waiting for us... 10/10 hosting! The house is lovely, plenty of space inside and out, equipped with everything you could ever need, and is perfect for a chill out holiday! The outside space was pefect. Shame ours was a fleeting visit but wouldn't hesitate to stay again. You will not be disappointed, book now...

The villa was incredible, with a full kitchen to allow us to cook a Bouillabaisse Marseillaise with the supervision of our resident chef. The hosts Jean-Claude and Ginger, carefully went through the comprehensive inventory and gave us a thorough villa guide to help us get the most out of the stay. They were available for any queries and were welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was ideally situated to access Marseilles and the surrounding sites by train, with the station 20 minutes walk from the villa. We used the car to access beaches and the vineyard. Cassis was fantastic, with the kayaking to the Calanques an activity not to be missed. The beach in Bandol, Plage de Renecros was pleasantly quieter than Cassis, and the water warmer, with the advantage of the fantastic La Chipote, where we enjoyed a superb lunch overlooking the bay. We ate the Thai moule with ginger and beetroot, the best squid ever and a white fish dish that had flavour to complement the fish. Not only was our waitress, Jade, attentive and engaging, but she suggested the ideal Rosé to complete the meal and arranged for us to visit Chateau Salettes for wine tasting. Highlights of the villa for us were the BBQ, an inside and outside kitchen, the pool and the outdoor dining table We would gladly do it all again. Thank you Jean-Clause and Ginger.

We were a family of 6 adults and a 4 year old from the UK. Hosts Jean-Claude and Ginger offered a warm welcome and thorough check in and are available for any advice or support but not intrusive in any way. The property has absolutely everything you need. The swimming pool was one of the best pools we have ever had and we have been visiting South of France for the past 30 years. The outdoor space was magnificent with excellent sun beds and two different shaded areas. The weather was perfect. Really friendly village with a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The wine bar/shop Lessentiel a must and the artisan potter Terre Engobee lovely and for a neighbourly meal Le Repair. This was an area we hadn’t previously explored but it’s rustic beauty provides a wealth of differing beach and inland activities. Highly recommend this property, the hosts and the area. This property is the perfect setting for a family vacation. The home owners have given great attention to details in order to make this rental very special for their guest. Some of our favorite amenities were the large family dining table under the covered patio, the fabulous swimming pool and outdoor kitchen, the air conditioned bedrooms, the large kitchen and family room, two washing machines and a large clothes drying area. This home is located in Ceyreste, which is a delightful village adjacent to La Ciotat, about 30 miles from Marseille. We rented a car, which made our daily touring around this amazing part of the country much easier. The owners, Jean-Claude and Ginger, were easy to work with and were available any time we had a need. They live on the property in a separate house but gave us our privacy and were gone on a vacation during most of our visit. One more lovely extra was the gardens around the house. Amazing lemon trees, olive trees, rosemary, lavender, oleander, and roses put this beautiful home over the top. What a delightful place to stay! Thank you Jean-Claude and Ginger for your hospitality.
