Villa de luxe Cap Ferret 5 chambres 5 SDB + piscine + pétanque

Hubert & Anne were very welcoming on our arrival from London. They showed us around their lovely home explaining how to operate the pool etc. We had our 3 & 5 year old grandchildren from LA staying with us and the amount of toys and activities for them to play with was truly amazing and a real life saver. The home had every thing to make our stay very comfortable and the ability to eat at home. Thank you.

There were 9 of us aged 7 - 72. The well designed villa included a kitchen to envy. Efficient aircon guaranteed a good night's sleep. The pool and deck were perfect for us. The 5 children spent hours in the water and served us soft drinks and nibbles from the pool bar - great fun!And Nana always found a shady spot near to the fun in the sun.Location wise - just an hour out of Bordeaux - there was something for everyone - either to walk to or a short drive. Calm waves to walk to on one side of the peninsula, golden beaches and rolling waves just a 5 minute drive on the other (the beach is supervised).Some of us bodyboarded, skimboarded, paddleboarded, while others just swam and played in the surf. Cycling and fishing was easy to organise. Food wise - we walked every morning to get our breakfast baguettes and pastries. And the produce market - 10 minutes walk away - had everything we could imagine and more - high quality fruit, vegetables, cheeses, fish, meats etc etc. Quite expensive, but great value.We didn't eat out but the nearby oyster bars were tempting!

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautiful house. Extremely well equipped which lacked nothing. Perfect location, near market, shops and beaches. Very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. We wished there were more than two toilets for the 13 of us, which is our only criticism. We cannot criticize it, except we wished there had been more toilets for the 13 of us.

We used this property for our family gathering to celebrate a special birthday. It worked very well for us as the rooms were large and the beds comfortable, with plenty of communal space. The weather was excellent and we almost always ate at the large table outside. There is a sunken seating area that we enjoyed using for sun lounging and as a place to sit around and chat over evening drinks. We had been a bit concerned that the pool might be a bit small, but in the end we found it perfectly adequate and the children all enjoyed it to the full. As far as location goes, the house is a couple of blocks from the main road and a couple of minutes walk from the harbour where we bought our seafood. We hired good quality bikes at surprisingly reasonable prices from a shop beside the market square in the village, although other things in the area (like food) were nightmarishly expensive. We tried several beaches on the Atlantic side, but in reality there was no difference between them because the sand is uniformly incredible for miles to the north and south. On the bay side, we could easily access the beach on foot from the house. Overall this is an excellent house in a good location and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a place to hold a family gathering or similar get-together, in very pleasant surroundings.

We spend a week in Hubert’s beautiful house that is really equipped with everything you can possibly need Or want in your vacations (incl pong pong table with bets, amazing kitchen equipment, kids chair for eating etc). The location is great, right around the corner of beautiful oyster bars.

what a lovely place to spend our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and partners and our grandchildren. Excellent kitchen area with all the gadgets(my children love to cook and share tasks) plenty of space to grab your breakfast and eat it where every you fancy and in the evening eating together outside by the pool with its handy poolside cabin with fridge and cooking facility and if you do run out of wine Hubert has thoughtfully provided some of his own chateau wine to buy very reasonably. Hubert and his wife are very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. They obviously love and care for the villa .For the little grandchildren the beach was just around the corner and the big ones were off on bikes to the endless sand on the Atlantic side Everyone loved it. Great near bye market ,little degustations a stones throw away. Lovely memorable Holiday. Thankyou Hubert

Lovely house and situation. Cannot think of any improvements to suggest. Owners seem to have thought of everthing. My daughter is telling all her friends what a great time we had and some of her work colleagues are trying to make a booking for themselves.
