Villa de standing avec piscine à La Roque-sur-Cèze, entre Avignon Uzès

Im Freundeskreis bereits zum zweiten Male eine wunderschöne Woche in einem traumhaften Haus verbracht. Super Ausstattung, bestens für Selbstversorger, Lionel als tollen Gastgeber und das märchenhafte Örtchen La-Roque-sur-Seze mit der Umgebung ist immer eine Reise wert. Nur zu empfehlen!

Lionel’s property is a truly special place. A beautiful home with stunning views, and complete peace a quiet. Lionel is an excellent host and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend!!!

Wir waren 3 Wochen in der traumhaften Villa in La Roque sur Ceze. Die Zeit ist wie im Fluge vergangen. Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir alle, aber vor allem die Kinder, viel Zeit in dem großen, tollen Pool verbracht. Der Außenbereich ist mit zahlreichen bezaubernden Ecken zum Sitzen, Essen und Relaxen ausgestattet. Auch die sehr großzügige Innenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Lionel war sehr hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und schnell vor Ort, wenn wir seine Unterstützung brauchten. Der Ort ist wirklich ganz bezaubernd. Die Cascaden sind auch ein echtes Highlight und unsere Kinder, 8-13 Jahre, sind von allen möglichen Felsen runtergesprungen und hatten einen Riesenspaß. Trotz Hitze waren wir auch in Nimes und Avignon. Auch sehr sehenswert. Der Weg zum Mittelmeer ist ziemlich lang. Waren wir auch. Würden wir vermutlich nächstes Mal weglassen. Wir konnten wunderbar in der La Ceze baden und sind natürlich auch ein paar Mal an der Ardeche gewesen. Wir waren mit einer anderen Familie im Haus. 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder. Jeder hatte durch die Zimmer mit jeweils eigener Dusche ausreichend Privatsphäre und konnte sich bei Bedarf zurückziehen. Insgesamt ein echter Traumurlaub.

As mentioned by others who have stayed, the pictures don't do it justice. Superb house, gardens and pool, with a fantastic view across the valley, and the boule area was most welcome with many games played, late into the night. The house is well equipped and Lionel was always responsive and helpful if there is any advice about the local area you need or if the is anything you need during your stay. The bedrooms are lovely and the downstairs open plan setup is perfect - though the weather was so good that we only ate one meal at the table inside. The air conditioning upstairs was very welcome and as long as you manage it properly, it's possible to keep the downstairs at a pleasant temperature. The town is lovely and close to some wonderful towns and villages. One thing to note (as mentioned by some other guests) is that there are some additional costs that we were unaware of because the UK website does not seem to show them properly (electricity was extra and meant we needed to get some additional cash), so I would suggest you confirm all costs early on. Aside from this, I could not fault the house or Lionel's professionalism and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again if the chance presents itself.
