Villa familiale à Arcachon plage

😊: The location is just perfect, in the city center, close to shops, market and restaurants and 200 m far from the beach and pier. The open space kitchen-living room is really nice to share meals with family/friends and the kitchen is fully equipped. There are 2 big showers that are very helpful when you are at the seaside with family and kids.. 😢: The "family room" is more like a cubicle without real windows and doors. It becomes very hot during summer nights. The restrooms at first floor are NOT provided with any toilet (this is not explicitly mentioned in the description), which is located just on ground floor (in a tiny spare room under the staircase, without windows or ventilation). I would have appreciated more transparency in the description of the flat and more realistic pictures. One last point, nobody showed up for check in and check out and we haven't been provided of clear instructions on any key aspects. Towels are extra (and extremely expensive), we have requested them but they weren't enough and nobody came to collect the money..

😊: Ideally located house, near the beach, the train station, the city center and shopping area. Very calm despite the central location as it is in a small no exit road. Very well equiped kitchen. Overall simply but nicely decorated house. Good bedrooms with confortable matresses even through some of the cover blankets had stains. 😢: The property management company is not very friendly and we actually had the feeling to bother them. Before our stay, we had to send 3 email reminders (in a 1 month period) and finally call to provide an answer to a question they actually asked in the first place (bed sheets and arrival time). In the call, we were told that they have a lot of work. Same behaviour for the checkout. Bed sheets and towels are to be rented for circa 30 euros per person and to be paid in cash only (not in line with current market practices for short term appartment rentals).
