Der Aufenthalt war leider überteuert...<br>#128578; Einfach zu erreichen<br>#128577; Es hat zwar eine recht schöne Aussicht, aber liegt nahe einer sehr befahrene Strasse, die die Hauptstrasse von dem Ort ist. Auch in der Nacht ist sie recht befahren. Die Fenster sind schlecht isoliert, so dass man den Lärm auch bei geschlossenen Fenster gut hört. Der Pool überhaupt nicht einladend. Es lag Schmutz auf dem Grund und die Wände sind zum Teil gerissen und blättert ab.

A classic example of a great house run by an awful management company. An unfriendly “host” barked orders at us, showing us “what not to touch” as soon as we arrived. This included some switches and a broken blind which obstructed the whole view of the water and the paper thin blinds in the basement. And then the demand for 50 late fee which she would not accept during our stay. I was told - after a 4 hour drive with kids - “go to an atm”. There is a problem with the plumbing in the house as the pipes hum and shower stops sporadically. House is very nicely decorated and you can tell the owners have made it very special. They need to get a new management company. This woman didn’t even turn up for check out. I have her text saying she was stuck in traffic… you couldn’t make it up. Appalling all around.

Our stay at Villa Francesca was perfect. It is centrally located to restaurants, the train and bus station, and has a stunning view of the Mediterranean from every window in the house. The staff was extremely helpful, but I recommend understanding some French if you are English-speaking for Check-in and Check-out instructions as the staff does come to the house when you arrive and depart. This home was beyond worth the stay and we hope to be back in the very near future! 11/10!

We had numerous issues with the property, including one of the showers not working properly and no aircon on middle or upper levels during the mid summer heat. Owner was less than helpful with these issues. Thankfully the pool was a great way to beat the heat. Despite having reasonable fitness levels we found the location of the house a real challenge as it is quite a distance up a very steep hill from beach/town with many hundreds of steps. We enjoyed Villefranche and surrounds but the house was a challenge and we found it smaller than expected.
