Villa Hacienda - Luxury House Mougins - Pool - AC

😊: Great communication with providers Was able to enter property a few hours earlier than stated Very spacious, lots of facilities, Plenty of bathrooms, Nearly all rooms had smart tvs, Nice big kitchen with island, Great Jacuzzi, Nice pool Good outside bar area with plate BBQ and working fridge Massive tv in the living area and comfortable seating Electric blinds covering all windows Beautiful large bathroom in the main bedroom with walk in shower room and walk in wardrobe.. 😢: I imagine when this property was first built it could’ve been described as luxury, however the owners appeared to have let it go and not kept up with repairs and maintenance. Lots of things at the Villa were either broken, in need of some repair, needed attention or replacing such as: Wardrobe doors, drawers, shelving in the bedrooms The ice machine in the kitchen did not work The kick board underneath the sink units has not been fitted properly and therefore keeps falling on the floor Ants in the kitchen on arrival Very poor quality knives provided and other utensils fell apart in the dishwasher Only about 8 large plates provided, even though Villa sleeps 12 The front door is ill fitting, there is a visible gap of about 1cm to the outside at the top of the door (this did not help the mosquito problem) A lot of tiling/patio on the outside of the Villa is broken Many lights, in and around the pool, bar area and inside were not working Chairs in the kitchen had ripped/scratched covers and needed oiling Blankets and cushions in the living area were old and in poor condition Thick heavy plastic covering on the main table (which I understand is to preserve the table) looked out of place and it was hard to balance cups and plates flat on it. A fitted bit glass would’ve been better, as drinks spilled on the bumpy cover The water pressure is non existent, the main bedroom bathroom is completely ruined by the lack of pressure, on a couple of occasions the water was barely dripping, I had to go to the downstairs shower just to get the suds out of my hair. I contacted the owner about this and they said that there is nothing they could do as it was a local area problem. I understand that they could maybe improve the issue by having a large water tank fitted at the property. I don’t know whether this is achievable or not The WiFi does not spread around the whole Villa, they need boosters..
