Villa Hortensia maison à colombage, parc arboré, calme, WIFI, grands espaces

We had a great week here. The house as everything we needed and more. Lovely play area and lawn for the children to play which was a real bonus. Only 65 mins from Disney and an easy motorway drive, (about 9 Euros peage each way). Dormans itself doesn't have too much to offer for tourists but Epernay and Reims are close by and Paris also possible for day visits. Also there are other chateau not too far away but after many excursions it felt great to return to the house and just chill, and play games with the children in the garden. And of course we had champagne! We took paddling pools with us for the kids which were great to cool off as we had hot weather. Veronique the host is lovely as well. All in all a great stay.

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end avec des amis dans la maison qui est très agréable, propres... hôtes très gentils et disponibles. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place niveau cuisine, barbecue, jeux enfants...nous recommandons!

Très bon séjour, environnement très calme en pleine nature à côté du corps de ferme de la propriété. La disposition des lieux privilégie le séjour-cuisine au rez-de-chaussée pour les réunions familiales et les repas. A l'étage, les chambres et les salles de bain, bien isolées des bruits du RDC. L'escalier est cependant très vertical et les enfants en bas âge doivent être surveillés. Par ailleurs, très bon contacts avec les propriétaires; tout était bien organisé. De plus Epernay et Reims sont à 25-40km, respectivement.

We had a very nice stay in villa Hortensia. The house is in the middle of the nature which offers you a beautiful scenery. The host was very friendly and thoughtful. Villa Hortensia is also very well equiped and the garden offers a lot of space to play outside games and enjoy barbecues. I would definitely recommend this place to big families and friends.

Veronique was very responsive from the first time we contacted here until after we returned home. The house is in Dormans, very near the WWI Memorial. There is a lovely bakery in town and several restaurants. There is also a supermarket nearby. It is a short distance to Reims and Chateau Thierry and about 90 minutes to Verdun and Paris. We were able to drive into Paris for a day and visit several battlefields and memorials on other days, as well as spend a day in Reims. The house was large, clean, quiet, and easy to get to. Just perfect - we highly recommend this property if you are visiting Grand-Est.

We had 3 families with 4 kids and it worked great. Location is very quiet and fairly isolated which is great for the kids running around. It was very warm and as you would expect no airconditioning. Very few supplies (e.g. single role of toilet paper, no tissues, no kitchen essentials such as rubbish bin bags, no wood or briquets or matches for Weber grill) are provided, and you only get a towel per person (no hand towels, bath mats, etc. provided) so you will need to bring your own of buy some. The family house has a pool which only the family could use, it would have been nice if we could have used it too. Very easy to work with owner. It was a nice stay and would recommend it.

This apartment is situated in a beautiful surroundings and is still very accessible from the highway. At night you can see the stars yet all facilities are within an arm's reach. We were surprised to find how quiet the place is. Very recommendable for people who like their peace and quiet. Ms. Coubronne is very friendly and helpful, we would definitely come here again.
