Villa idyllique juste à l'extérieur du village pittoresque de Claviers

We had an amazing stay at Bastidon des Oliviers and couldn’t have wished for a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the south of France. The house is all you want for a relaxing stay (very accurately shown in the photos), with a beautiful garden, fresh pool, several terraces to enjoy food and drinks, and quiet and peaceful surroundings. There’s even a pétanque area! The bedrooms are comfortable, dark at night and as quiet as can be for a restful sleep. There’s a big book with local recommendations, and we could’ve easily stayed another week enjoying the beautiful nature and cute French towns. Also make sure to get some bread from the bakery in Claviers, which is the best baguette we’ve ever tried (and my boyfriend comes from France!) Communication with the host was very smooth, and although we didn’t have any problems, I’m sure they’d be able to solve it as soon as they can if the occur. Thanks so much for our wonderful week, would absolutely return.

Our family stay at this wonderfully peaceful villa turned out to just what we all needed. The villa is set amongst very ancient olive groves and looks over the hills of Bargemont. Our whole group were thoroughly relaxed within minutes of arrival with everything already in place. The infinity pool next to the house where you can look out over the hills is magical. Cannot wait to go back.

It was just what we were looking for- a quiet and peaceful holiday with lovely views. Just over an hour from Nice airport, tucked up in the hills near pretty villages. The house was light and spacious, the pool had great views and we could walk to the boulangerie. Very helpful hosts and local contacts.

Nous avons passé une petite semaine très agréable dans un cadre idyllique entre amis, Parfait pour déconnecter de la ville et se retrouver entre amis,Maison magnifique, très agréable à vivre avec une superbe piscine bien entretenue et de beaux espaces extérieurs,Nous avons pu profiter de plusieurs activités dans les environs que ce soit dans les gorges du Verdon ou les jolis petits villages des alentours,Encore merci pour l’accueil et tout le reste !

Nous avons passé 4 nuits au bastidon des oliviers. Endroit très calme dans un écrin de verdure. C’était exactement ce que nous voulions. Le contact avec les propriétaires était adapté, disponibles et réactifs. Merci à Liz pour l’accueil. Je recommande.

Spent a lovely week in Claviers. Ideal location to explore the many villages and not too far from the coast. Villa was very comfortable, loads of space inside and out. Owners on hand when we arrived to show us around and welcome us. The kitchen and bathrooms could do with a little updating, but that is only a little comment. Would highly recommend to others.
