Villa Jules Grand Gîte

😊: We spent two weeks here and enjoyed the comfort the well-equipped environment it provided. Stephane, our charming, English- speaking host could not have been kinder and more accommodating. Three members of our family joined us for a few days - As with everything, Stephane welcomed the change to our original booking. The location is lovely - a smart, safe and quiet residential area, but just a short walk along the Promenade to the centre, with its Poisonnerie, Bakery and restaurants. We recommend l'Equinox. The U Express supermarket is a short drive (5 mins away) and had all we needed, including Gazoil. Three three bikes were welcomed by our family. And you must visit the lighthouse set in heathland where we saw and heard skylarks for the first time in years! Super-fast reliable internet. The second bedroom is on the ground floor - perfect for my limited mobility. The beds were super-comfortable and the shower modern, with lovely hot water.. 😢: The pool is much smaller than it looks in the adverts - little more than a 'plunge' pool. Access to the third bedroom is through the master bedroom - fine for smaller children but some privacy issues for older ones. The main access is up a rustic wooden stair case - challenging for any with walking disability..

😊: The gîte is a few steps from the sea and lovely sandy beach. It has its own small swimming pool and terrace at the front and a fenced garden at the rear. It is stylish, well-presented, immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has a good-sized shower. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor. The property is pet friendly. The hosts were very welcoming on our arrival and available by phone if needed.. 😢: There was nothing to dislike..

😊: The host is a gentleman. The place is outstanding. So clean and tidy and everything you need. Had the pool on for us out of season as a surprise. So clean and tidy, hypermarket 15 min drive away restaurants everywhere - perfect. 😢: That we had to leave - we had such a great time.

😊: We were met on arrival by the owner who handed over the keys to the property and giving us a guided tour around the villa. The property was extremely clean and had all the facilities and utensils we needed. A great place, great location and wonderful hosts.. 😢: Nothing.
