Villa LA ALEGRIA

😊: The sunrise viewed from the high ground was wonderful.. 😢: I have never encountered an owner with such a bad attitude. Even though I had informed him of my arrival time, he got angry at me, and his children were walking around the house eating snacks. When my daughter exclaimed "Wow!" because she was overwhelmed by the view, he glared at her and snapped, "You're too loud! Keep it down, or the neighbors will call the police"—he threatened us like that repeatedly. In the end, it turned out the house next door was blasting music at full volume, so the noise we were making was a complete non-issue. His place was also lacking in many essentials. Furthermore, the previous guest's dishes were still sitting in the dishwasher, and the plates stored in the cupboard were very dirty..

😊: The view was spectacular, as was the pool & outdoor entertaining space. The room sizes and generous bathrooms also made it very easy for a larger group to stay. The walk into town was also much easier than initially thought - only 25 mins and mostly flat, so my 3 year old handled it well.. 😢: Whilst the property was fitted out with most things a large group needs to stay comfortably, it did feel a bit bare and not as homely as other villas we stayed in. Would have liked more pictures on the wall, better quality TV with proper youtube / netflix, more quanity and quality pillows, bed sheets/blankets, furniture covers etc. It just felt like a holiday rental versus a home away from home..

😊: Location is amazing, the villa is amazing. We really enjoyed it here, The pool being warm made such a difference, even though it was hot out, it was refreshing to use, without the shock of an unheated pool! Lots of amenities, and the views are to die for..

😊: The property was outstanding, even better than the photos and it was very well equipped for the 6 of us. We have been coming to the South of France for over 20 years and we would totally recommend the location, its a perfect base to explore from.. 😢: nothing.
