Villa La Californie

Plus: beautiful views from different outside areas. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, situated near Montpellier and Sète. In the villa you will find some luxurious gadgets as a home cinema with surround sound and a large jacuzzi. Outside you will find some different areas where you can sit comfortly and enjoying the amazing views. Minus: the beds are not good and even very basic and conpletely not in line with the luxury appaerance of the villa. There is no wardrobe at the master bedroom. The cleaning could have been done better (there were even ants in the kitchen) and there are some overdue maintenance in and around the house. We also haven’t seen anyone during te stay, even not at arrival or departure. Only contact by e-mail and text messaging. To be clear. We really enjoyed the villa, but there are some remarks that have to be made, especially in this category villa’s.

The villa was very well positioned, in a quiet spot of Montbazin (all of Montbazin is pretty quiet!) and 30 minutes' drive from Montpellier. It suited our group very well as a base for a cycle holiday, with really nice cycling roads within easy reach to the north and west of Montbazin. The villa itself was well kept, with lots of tech gadgets like a film projector and a music system that could play in multiple rooms. The swimming pool was a lovely feature and was much enjoyed during the warm weather on our stay. A good cooker and barbecue so we were able to enjoy cooking at home. We had one couple with a baby and there was a cot and high chair that suited them well. Our host Pierre was very helpful and prompt with replies - everything worked well. Recommended.

We had pleasant stay in this beautiful villa. The best point is the great pool which we enjoyed every day. We can recommend this house and hope we have the chance to spend our vacation here in the near future. Thanks to Pierre (the owner of the house) and his familiy for taking care of us.

Had a fantastic fortnight- Pierre was a great host. Villa lovely and clean inside and by the pool. A few iffy weather days but we just loved staying the pool and enjoying the local area! We will be back!!

It was a great pleasure to stay here. Fully and lovely equiped. To sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view every morning and evening was wonderful. The pool area is the perfect lounge place to chill after a beach day. Thank you very much Pierre , you and your wife are perfect hosts. We will come back!
