Villa les Olivades

We had a wonderful week here in august 2023. There was 4 adults and 4 children aged between 5 - 9. The Villa was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable and all the furniture very nice and practical. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Bathrooms very nice and clean on arrival. Most of the Villa is a bit dated as in photos but clean and comfortable. Pool is large and great undercover area to escape the sun. Rognes is such a beautiful town which we loved to explore. Boulangerie is 5 min walk away. Sabine was absolutely lovely - the lady who has the key and welcomes you to the villa. Only thing to mention is that this is not a 4 bed villa. There is only 3 bedrooms with sofa beds in the living room/dining room. Also, there was not a barbecue at the property even though this was on the list of amenities. We contacted the owner who said the previous guests had broken it however the owner did not replace it for us and so we had to go and buy one ourselves for cooking which was annoying. Not all the photos are accurate, they were probably taken some time ago. There is not a gate around the pool now (there is an alarm) and there were no cushions for the sunbeds so they were pretty uncomfortable. Despite contacting the owner to ask for a barbecue and cushions to be provided (as in the property description and photos) he didn’t reply. All together we had a great week but wanted to leave an honest review so others know what to expect!

Maison très spacieuse et très agréable, très bien équipée, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Endroit très calme, idéal pour le repos et la vie en famille. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hésiter. Si nous devions mentionner un petit bémol, nous ferions référence au confort et à la solidité des transats de piscine, mais sans grande importance.

Très bon accueil avec un petit gâteau fait maison et une bouteille de vin. Endroit tranquille avec plein de visites et de ballades possibles à proximité. Le propriétaire et la dame qui nous accueillent sont très sympathiques. Je recommande.
