Villa Machja, Porto-Vecchio

We spent a wonderful week in this house. It is very well equipt: kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for - including good kitchen knifes. great choice of board games - the mini table pool was a favorit with our youngsters. Lovely decoration and great grounds with the grand swimming pool. Maybe to notice is that the bed's mattrasses are rather rigid. Thank you Sandra and Fred for sharing villa Machja for a week with us! We visited Villa Matchja with 3 generations - grandparents, parents (me) and young children. All of us loved our stay there. It was an ideal layout for our group with one bedroom on one side of the house, providing privacy for the grandparents, and the children’s and parents’ bedrooms on the other side. All bedrooms have attached bathrooms, also allowing for more privacy. The kitchen is as well supplied with all the necessary equipment. And the air conditioners in all rooms were much appreciated. Although there is not much of a view, the outdoor space was lovely and private. The landscaping was done very tastefully. And of course he children spent hours in the pool. The manager was very professional and excellent at responding. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a truly wonderful week at Villa Machja at the end of June. It was a great base for exploring the beautiful island. The living spaces are super comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, and the garden... wow! So many different areas to relax in, and a heavenly new pool. Comfortable bedrooms (with clever blackout blinds), great bathrooms, and aircon throughout. The location was very convenient - close to Porto vecchio, palombagia beach and many other amazing places. Highly recommended. A week wasn’t enough!
