Villa Mika à 5min de la plage

😊: The villa itself was nice and clean.. 😢: Having booked this at last minute we couldn’t believe when we initially drove up and found ourselves in the middle of a construction site. Because it was a Sunday it was quiet, so due to us booking last minute we decided to try and make it work. In the morning we were woken up to angle grinders, diggers and noise and dust which you would only experience if you were part of a construction site. We immediately messaged the property for them to say they didn’t realise as they didn’t live near the property! There was no way anyone could stay in this property so we packed and left, having to find alternative accommodation for the rest of our holiday. After much back and forth the property agreed to refund the 4 nights we hadn’t stayed, but still charged us for the 1 night. I don’t dispute this, but the final kick in the teeth came when they added €160 for cleaning fees after we only slept in one bedroom and one bathroom for a few hours! On return we reviewed the listing and the photos were definitely misleading as they showed no construction work and the photos seemed to have been doctored to hide this. It is unfair as these people are taking money off people under false pretences and spoiling their hard earned holidays..

😊: Really clean. Spacious for our group of 4 adults. All facilities you could need including well equipped kitchen, washing machine, 3 shower rooms and 2 toilets (plus an outdoor toilet by the pool), good WiFi. Location residential, fairly quiet with several unbuilt plots still ripe for development. 5 mins walk to local bakery.. 😢: Nothing to to like about the property itself, but location is possibly just not ideal for everyone… it’s 15/20min walk to the beach, a 25mins walk to nearest supermarket and the main boulevard area with all the restaurants is about a 35/40min walk away, transport to Beziers is at least 2 buses over an hour, so we would recommend a car if you want to go out in Beziers..

😊: The villa was perfect for our group, so clean and all amenities could hope for. Sinan went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.. 😢: .
