Great location-walked to the beach every day. Pool was great. Villa was just perfect.

Maison très fonctionnelle où il ne manque rien. Sur la terrasse vue époustouflante sur la baie d’Ajaccio, plage de sable à proximité immédiate. Excellent accueil.

Corsica is an island of beauty and U Castellu is a wonderful base from which to discover it. Located in the charming beach town of Portigliolo, about 45 mins south of Ajaccio, the villa features stunning views of mountains and sea, outdoor living with a wrap around terrace, and outdoor pool, shower and garden, a well appointed kitchen, attractive master suite and a functional set of rooms that accommodates a small or large group looking for a base from which to discover southern Corsica and all within walking distance to the beach! Wow! We highly recommend this property.

Thank-you so much Adèle! Our group of 8 had plenty of space and a wonderful stay. As it was our first time in Corse it was easy to fall in love with this amazing island but we can't overlook the part that U Castellu played in making it a magical experience. Your responsiveness was not only prompt but thoughtful and with local support from Carole we felt well taken care of. So many great features of the house....plenty of space, excellent amenities, and the terrace which is hard to put into words. Such a relaxing place to stay; many thanks again!

Wir kamen um 7.00 Uhr früh mit der Fähre auf der Insel an und haben uns darauf vorbereitet, bis um 16.00 Uhr zu warten bis wir in das Haus einziehen können. Gegen 10.00 Uhr erhielten wir einen Anruf, dass das Haus gereinigt ist und wir sofort kommen können. Top. Kurz nach unserem Eintreffen erschien die nette Verwalterin und gab uns noch einige Tipps. Danach hatten wir Zeit unsere Unterkunft zu bewundern. Eine traumhafte Aussicht von der schönen Terrasse aufs Meer. Ausreichen und schön ausgestattete Zimmer. Der Garten zwar mit Kunstrasen aber ansonsten nett bepflanzt und ein großer Pool. Der Weg zum morgendlichen Bad im Meer nur 5 min. und man kann auf dem Rückweg gleich frische Baguettes mitbringen. Wirklich günstige Einkaufen konnte man aber nur in Ajaccio, ungefähr 40 km entfernt. Insgesamt aber eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit unkomplizierter Buchung und Abwicklung. Bezahlung allerdings befremdlicherweise in britischen Pfund.
