VILLA VACANCES

This is a beautifully thought out villa with all the rooms looking out onto the pool area. The bedrooms are spacious and high end and the outdoor kitchen area was amazing. Céline was friendly and explained everything well despite our later than planned arrival and we just had the best week there. The villa is set back from the road and felt completely isolated, yet there were lots of shops and restaurants around so you didn't feel too cut off. The pool is plenty big enough for a family of 5 to have fun every day in and the whole pool area was easy to spend time around. See you again soon we hope

The villa is very nice, located on a top of a small hill (the driveway was a bit scary at first), with a lovely view on green hills. The most comfortable is an outdoor kitchen with a big table - we didn’t spend much time indoors. There is no air conditioning but the house is well isolated and we didn’t complain of heat - in fact it was nice and cool at nights. The pool is not very big but nice and sufficient to cool down in a hot day. The closest restaurant is at 20min walk, regretfully there was no boulangerie in a walking distance. The garden is well maintained surrounded by woods, there is also table tennis, children play house and boules court. For family member who is a wheelchair user there were some obstacles in the form of thresholds/small steps at entrance - we had to use a small ramp, and gravel at the driveway. The water in the pool was not as warm as we hoped (still nice 24 degrees) and therefore not used by all. We were a little surprised when asked to pay for using linen - we never came across such request earlier, and given the price we would expect it to be included. Overall a very pleasant stay, nice welcome from Céline and Philippe, and as in the title - mesmerised starry nights with Milky Way visible thanks to location far from “lights polution”.
