Villa viticole de luxe avec piscine, parc et aire de jeux pour enfants

We had a wonderful stay in Le Bougainvillea, without a doubt the most beautiful holiday residence we ever stayed in! The garden is beautiful and excellent for young children, and the pool was a great success. The villa is very spacious and has everything you need. Ania and Jorje are execellent hosts and they made us feel very welcome. The wine they make is of excellent quality as well. We look back at a great holiday.

We choose this location for our annual family holiday and I must that it was most enjoyable for the entire family. The location is secluded however very close to the Highway for easy access to all the various activity spots across the region. All amenities are being catered for but there are Supermarkets nearby to cater for all needs. The unit itself was very spacious with all of the amenities of the highes quality. Special mention to the fantastic pool enjoyed by the whole family every. In closing, insist on a wine tasting a high point of our stay.

We arrived at Domaine Saint Ferreol with very high expectations having read such wonderful reviews from previous guests, and were slightly anxious that we were in for disappointment. We need not have worried, everything was beyond perfect, and actually surpassed the hopes we had. Jorje and Ania are the perfect hosts, always on hand when something is needed, nothing is too much trouble, I liken it to the level of service you get in an excellent 5* hotel. The villas are large and have everything you need, the gardens and swimming pool are fantastic, the pool especially which is emmaculate and warm, and our children loved the playground. The surrounding area is perfect for an active young family like ours - canoeing, pony riding, beaches, dinosaur parks, adventure parks, water parks, historic towns, vineyards as far as the eye can see, all within 20-30 mins drive. Jorje and Ania also produce their own Viognier wine which is exsquisite, -and the wine tasting evenings they arrange in the cellar underground was so good we did it twice, Jorje's insights into wine making combined with his Chemistry background make for a fascinating opportunity to learn about and taste wines from the region, including the Viognier. The first thing we did when we got home was contacted Jorje and Ania to book for next year, and we can't wait.

We have just returned from a fabulous first visit to St Ferreol. Le Bougainvillae was just as good as it looks in the photos. We enjoyed the gentle, attentive hospitality of Jorge and Ania and appreciated their restaurant recommendations and reservations. The wine tasting was a highlight. St Ferreol is a perfect location to enjoy both exploring the area and spending relaxing days by the pool. There are great restaurants nearby but we also enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves. Good local shops/ markets and a well equipped kitchen made this a great option. We look forward to a return visit.

This was our third visit to St Ferreol, so I guess that speaks for itself. It's one of those places that, once discovered, many families seem to come back to. The owners, Jorje and Ania are really welcoming and helpful. The Bougainvillaea is one of a group of six gites in a lovely old wine domain that the current owners have brought back into wine production. We went with our 12-year-old son and my parents and we all loved it. All the gites are clean, spacious and comfortable and well equipped, including wi-fi access and Sky TV. They are also nicely decorated with lots of attention to detail which you often don't get in these sorts of places. St Ferreol is about half an hour's drive from some nice beaches and just a few kilometres from the lovely town of Pezenas which is a big tourist attraction but in a nice, arty, charming sort of way - think little courtyard restaurants, galleries and antique shops. Because St Ferreol is such a nice place to relax in and there is a lot for children to do on site (swimming pool, table tennis, trampoline and spacious gardens) you really don't need much more but there are a lot of things to do locally and some good restaurants which Jorje and Ania can tell you about. Would definitely recommend the beautiful and peaceful place and definitely want to go back.
