Perfect for walks and bike rides The location is amazing. It 's a Lovely charming and confortable house situated at the edge of a village near the Dordogne'river. We walked miles through the woods, on well marked paths, where we saw deer, hares and other wildlife. A traffic free cycle path runs close-by and offers excellent cycling around the region. Perfect!

An authentic gite in rural France, newly renovated to a high standard, surrounded by acres of grounds. A lovely large garden with sun-loungers , plenty of sheltered space for eating outside. The gite is in easy reach of the airport, and there are many lovely places to visit close at hand by car – Bergerac , the old Bastide villages (including Lalinde, Eymet, Monpazier, Sarlat), castels, vineyards and caves. There’s plenty to do: shopping in the local markets, walking, cycling, canoeing, eating at local restaurants or eating the evening away at the night markets. The host Ann is wonderfully attentive and helpful and she go out of their way to ensure everything is just as you would like.

We spent some days of wonderful holidays in this vacation rental. The house is wonderfully laid out and decorated recently, with everything we need equipped. Good beds, a large living room, and a beautiful bathroom. There was the baker and restaurant as well as market all nearby. The absolute peak is naturally the garden. We enjoyed a lot of the evenings with the sunset. The house is definitely in the best corner of Dordogne. Willingly, we will return with pleasure again!

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful area of France. I have stayed at Lanquais for a week in each of the last two years. The farmhouse itself is perfect---comfortable beds, plenty of space,a games room, laundry, lovely grounds for eating outdoors. The area is beautiful----vineyards and sunflower fields; local chateaux, churches,villages and markets to visit; and the undulating countryside is perfect for stress-free cycling. Canoeing and horse-riding is also nearby. It's so good----4 of us are going back again this year...!!!

The gite is in easy reach of the airport, with roads that were virtually traffic-free , and there are many lovely places to visit close at hand by car – Bergerac itself, the ancient Bastide villages (including Lalinde, Eymet, Monpazier, Sarlat), chateaux, vineyards and caves, all set in pretty countryside. There’s plenty to do: shopping in the local markets, walking, cycling, canoeing, eating at local restaurants or eating the evening away at the night markets. Our two dogs had the time of their lives, running , with more space and freedom than they had ever known. The host Ann is wonderfully attentive and helpful and she go out of their way to ensure everything is just as you would like.
