Volets Verts

The gite is comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable too with the right level of firmness. There is a washing machine and yard at the back with line and pegs for drying, which was a bonus. Parking is right outside for a medium-sized car. It’s in a very good location for discovering bastide country.The only slight drawbacks for us were the slightly awkward and steep flight of steps between bedroom and toilet (but younger people would probably be fine), and the persistent slight smell of stale woodsmoke (presumably lingering from the winter as there’s no ventilation in the main room). In short though, a pleasant and good-value place to stay, with good access instructions from the owner.
