Very quiet and peaceful. A beautiful 2km walk to a secluded beach. Great cliff hikes north and south from the beach trail. The bus from Le Havre dropped us off at the church in Le Tilleul and from there an easy walk to the cottage. Hosts were very accommodating and answered our messages promptly.

A very nice house in a top location. The hosts are very friendly. We stayed during the Christmas holidays with very bad weather in the last few days, there was some leakage and moisture through the walls. The house was fully equipped. Beds are a bit worn. It was also a bit dusty, cleaning could be better. If these small points are resolved, it will be a real winner.

Our short stay (3 days) was good. The chalet was nice, in a quiet environment with a lot of privacy. Everything was available in the chalet. The only issue we had was with the stairs to the sleeping place. Because of the tiny house, the sleeping place was accessible via small stairs, without railing. This felt dangerous (specially for elder people and people with fear of heights) . Luckily, there was the possibility to sleep on the couch downstairs. Overall a good and positive experience, and location on half hour walk from the famous coast of Étretat.

Gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Chalet mit Terrasse und Garten, sehr ruhige Lage, sympatische Einweisung mit Cidre als Geschenk unserer Gastgeberin Sylvie. Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen zu den Klippen von Etretat, 25min zum wunderschönen Strand zwischen den Klippen mit klarem Wasser und brillantem Blick auf die Klippen, Besichtigungen von Le Havre, Honfleur, aber auch Caen, Rouen, Lisieux, Evreux und Giverny (<2h) sind in erreichbarer Entfernung.

Super week-end. Très bien accueilli. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et discret. La location est parfaitement implantée pour pouvoir accéder à Etretat sans les inconvénients du parking ( à pieds ou en bus). Le chalet est très fonctionnel, bien équipé et très propre. Je recommande vivement.

Property was suitable for the two of us. We managed to sleep in the loft, which was surprisingly comfortable. Property was well equipped although soap and an extra towel would have been good. Le Tilleul is a small quiet village but does have a boulangerie, shop and restaurant, which wasn’t open when we were there. The Sea and Cliffs were a good half hour walk away. Sylvia was very helpful.

Quiet, cute and exactly what we needed for a little break. Well equipped chalet in a lovely private space, but next to the owners in case you need anything. Sylvie is a great host, friendly and obviously pleased to provide what we needed. I would highy recommend staying here. Would easily sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if needed- but 2 adults also easy as I hade the mezzanine (with super comfy bed) and my friend slept in the double sofa bed. Thanks Sylvie- I hope to come again!

We had a fantastic few days in Le Tilleul. Sylvie and Serge were very welcoming and helpful when needed. I would recommend spending a day in Honfleur, it is a beautiful port and has plenty to keep you occupied.
