Vue magique Coeur de Beynac

😊: This is an extraordinary vacation stay. A cosy medieval house in an absolutely beautiful village of the same age — with an ancient castle on top! Most spectacular is the little terrace outside the front door where one can enjoy a glass, or a cup, and just contemplate the stunning views and the river flowing by. The location also allows for magnificent walks around the village and the surrounding areas, and a few minutes by car takes you to the almost as beautiful neighbouring villages, castles and gardens. Within easy walking distance there is also a couple of restaurants (at least one really good), a small grocery store and two bakeries. Last but not least, Frédérique and Martine gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. All in all we had an excellent time in Beynac and we hope to come back one day!.

😊: Apartment situated in an old historic house below the majestic castle Great view on the river Terrace with flowers Well furnished apartment with all facilities. 😢: Small bathroom on a separate floor as the bedrooms, small shower, narrow staircase Tiny terrace, exposed to tourist trafic to the castle.

😊: The hosts were very friendly and helpful and stayed in contact throughout our stay. The house is very pretty and frequently photographed by passers by. There are basic shops and restaurants close. Parking is at a little distance, but easy. The area is very beautiful with many interesting places to visit and some good walks nearby.. 😢: The house is not especially comfortable or convenient for a longer stay. There’s a very steep climb to get to it; the bathroom is on the ground floor while bedrooms are upstairs; it was difficult to find a place to sit in the evening with enough light to read a book..
