We enjoyed a fantastic week at Geradmer. We were lucky with the weather, and rode up Grand Ballon on our bikes 😅 House is very nice, the view is fantastic, and only a short walk from the lake and the town, you can ride directly into the mountains on the bike 🙂

Very nice house, great view, not far from lake
We enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and the garden is wonderful. The house offered toys and balls and many things for the children to enjoy. We enjoyed the view on the lake, especially the fireworks on aug 14. We were 13 people (8 children) and the house still felt ample. August is a very very busy period in Gérardmer, which has its charms and its annoyances (congestion). The owner required to have an evidence from us that we are insured for damages to which we are legally liable up to a very big amount. It is now announced on the website as well but not at the time we booked and that caused some difficulties. Good for future guests to be aware of. All in all a very pleasant house and many good memories.
