😊: Nice location, a pleasant little apartment on the edge of the historic area.. 😢: The bed is an IKEA day bed, not a real bed. It wasn’t very comfortable. Actually finding how to access the art meant and the parking was complex and could be simpler..

😊: Location.the view.. 😢: Last minute surprise.I have been with booking.com for how many years,this is the first time I encountered that I have to deposit €500 for a 2 nights stay(not 1 month) as a guarantee fee should we destroy anything in the property when we leave.This should be stated right from the beginning not 2 days before arrival,where I couldn't back out and search for another place to stay.Otherwise informations and instructions won't be given to us.Felt that I didn't have freedom in the place we paid for that we have to be extra careful to the extend that we didn't use kitchen facilities except for the kettle for us to make our coffee and the cups. Main entrance door isn't working well.on our first night we have to ring 4x before the door was opened.On our second night no answer at all. Communicated with booking.com and luckily someone was coming out of the building before the property management rang us..

😊: Beautiful and well-equipped apartment just a stone's throw from the old town. Clean and cozy. Parking in the underground garage for 7 euros is very convenient. No air conditioning, but it wasn't hot - the high floor and large windows provided excellent ventilation.. 😢: We came for 3 days, and when we started to book the garage, it turned out that it was occupied for the first night. We had to park the car for the first night in a paid street parking near the house (about 4 euros for 3 morning hours, free at night), and then move it to the garage at 11AM. Apparently, you need to book parking in advance!.

😊: The apartment was modern, spacious, and had great views looking toward the city centre. As indicated in the photos on the apartment profile, it has a fully equipped kitchen with a comfortable breakfast bar. The cleanliness was spotless and we were able to check in a couple of hours early, which was quite great given our arrival time in Vannes. Collecting and depositing the keys was also quite an easy process.. 😢: As has been mentioned in previous comments, the major drawback of reserving this apartment is what I would consider to be the excessive deposit that is required (€500). While this is mentioned on the apartment's profile when booking, it is not included in the main description, but rather in the additional information located toward the bottom of the page. As a frequent Booking.com user, I have never encountered this requirement in any of my previous reservations. As such, I did not notice it when booking. While this is ultimately my responsibility, it is clear from reviewing previous comments that I am not the first guest to have encountered this situation. This would suggest that the information could be more clearly communicated to potential guests. We also had an issue returning to the apartment one night where we were unable to enter the apartment building via the buzzer. Had we not been able to contact one of the other residents who opened the door for us, we could have been stuck outside for some time..
