WILLOW

😊: The place location is incredible, calm environment, away for busy roads and not many people around. The pool was the gem of our stay most of the times we had it just for ourselves and host made sure it was always clean everyday! The lake view, the walks around it, the birds and otters we spot and all the sunsets we observed in the quiet evenings... very peaceful.. good for resting! The house was cosy and full of character, kitchen was very well equiped and the beds were comfortable. The hosts had a folder with plenty of activities and places to visit... very helpful... they made both the check-in and out very smoth and friendly.. 😢: The area was stormed by flies, they were everywhere and very annoying... but the house had lots on arrival and we had to spend a lot of time keeping them out of the house. We eventually had to buy spray to help us getting them under control and i think the host should have provide this for us or had the house free of flies. Also the frames of the windows were not clean inviting a lot of bugs and spiders to get in when opening them... maybe paying a bit more attention to that detail will help visiters to have a better experience..

😊: The property was clean, and felt private, despite there being other accommodation on the gite. The pool facility and outdoor activities are excellent and the location, close to a lake is idyllic. The rooms are well maintained and the property has everything a family needs for a nice relaxing stay. The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The house is on the outskirts of a small village which has a few small restaurants and bars, and where you grab a few essentials. The location is extremely peaceful.. 😢: The only real downside to the property is that it is slightly remote, but we knew that when we booked. It is 5 minutes from a small village but major towns and supermarkets are a good 30 minutes away, but easy to get to. The trade off is that it is quiet and tranquil, and in beautiful surrounds. There was an issue while we were present where the WiFi was down for the week and the company that could fix it was closed for the summer. The data signal for phones was strong though so this was not a serious issue..

😊: Location was wonderful, the view was heavenly, Eddie and Cindy and Emma were wonderful hosts, so helpful, generous and caring.The pool is perfect and and the grounds beautifully kept.. 😢: The Gite was super well equipped but there was a musty damp smell. We didn’t mention it but maybe for future, worth noting..
