WoW House SPA - Jardin

😊: This is an ultra modern house with quite luxurious fittings, especially the bathroom. The location is great, being just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Croix-Rousse, where there are loads of bars, restaurants etc and the metro station for the amazing line C which deals easily with a 17.6% gradient down the hill to the rest of the city. You can park outside the house, if you can find a space, but the street parking is quite expensive. It is also worth noting that the recommended local car park - Gros Caillou - is incredibly expensive unless you book in advance: for four days, with advance booking, we paid 92 euros, whereas without advance booking it would have been 162 euros! The last thing to note is the terrace/garden is very overlooked, though in the end we didn't really use it. But worth knowing if you like to use the outside area. But overall this is a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.. 😢: We arrived 25 minutes after the check in time only to find the cleaner still in the property. As we'd not been advised of any delay this was surprising and not a great start (it turns out the owner was unaware & thanked us for reporting the issue). Then we found the kitchen electrics weren't working. The response from the owners, however, was fantastic - they sent two different people along within an hour and the problem was sorted immediately.

😊: The quality / spec of everything was great and the kitchen had everything needed. The location was fairly handy for everything we needed.. 😢: The lack of privacy, both within the apartment and from outside - it was easy to see into the apartment from both the road and the surrounding apartments (even just some blinds on the internal bedroom windows would help). It also meant the place was very bright, very early (summer stay). Two wcs were handy, but neither having a sink, and the lack of upstairs mirror made things a little more difficult (not the end of the world, just not ideal). Some of the kitchen equipment (like the salad spinner) was unclean and the dishwasher hadn't been emptied and had broken glasses from the poor stacking..

😊: Beautiful renovation in a great neighbourhood, just away from the tourist traps but close enough to walk to all the major sites. Lovely and quiet and very attractive decor.. 😢: Bedrooms were a little light due to the design of the building, air conditioning was functioning but not powerful..

😊: Nice New and super comfortable. Very easy to get in ( no need for keys. ) Nice surrounding outside city center but not too far. perfect for 4 guests. Good internet.. 😢: -None-.
