Stunning location, impressive history, thoughtful restoration. We enjoyed our return to the area and the wonderful peace and quiet. The koi pond was a fun addition. Pretrip advice and info from owner allowed us to hit the ground running.

Everything worked out better that we could have thought possible. The house was lovely and the bedrooms large and well layer out. The kitchen was very well supplied and easy to prepare meals in. The outdoor space was lovely and the view really enchanting. We really enjoyed our times with the hosts where were too short. We will definitely add this stay to our future plans.

The home in Flavigny is beautifully reconstructed and decorated. There is a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and baths and a lovely garden overlooking the countryside. It was very spacious for two couples with a koi pond as a bonus. We enjoyed feeding the fish! The location made it possible to explore the surrounding area . A car is a necessity. The village is wonderful with several good restaurants and of course the Anis factory of which it is renowned. We loved every minute and we’re sorry to have our trip end.

The house was delightful. It was well-appointed and comfortable, being kept cool.by the thick stone walls. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax. It felt very private yet it was a short walk to the local amenities. We enjoyed the bread and pastries from the bakery and the village shop was well stocked. We walked to the Flavigny brasserie and vineyard to sample the local beer and wine - we loved the rose. There was a lot to explore in the area and we had a wonderful week, thank you.

We had a lovely stay in the very pittoresque village of Flavigny. The house was perfect - spacious and renovated with modern amenities while all the charm has been preserved. Very calm garden. Highly recommended.

The bedrooms are cosy and decorated with the house’s historical background in mind. The cleanliness was impeccable. One of the highlights of our stay was the quiet ambience of the surroundings, enhanced by the peaceful garden with its beautiful views and its mesmerising Koi pond.
