3 well equipped gites with swimming pool on the Loire Valley/Vienne border

Wife and I spent a week here with our 3 kids (aged 3, 7 & 9) in July. Property is spacious, very well appointed, very clean and the owners have done a fantastic job with the recent conversion. I'd agree with a previous reviewer that the photos don’t do it justice - it is a fantastic place to spend a holiday. The thick walls meant that the inside was always cool, even when temperatures hit high thirties outside, and the owners also provided fans so the lack of air-con wasn't a problem at night. The kids enjoyed the pool and also the very large garden and tree-swings. The owners were on-site and very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions for things to do. They helped organize a riding lesson for one of our daughters which pretty much made her holiday. The rural location means total peace and quiet - the trade-off is that you need to drive out to any places of interest, but there is plenty to do in the area within a 20-40 minute drive, which was fine for us. The acid test is that I would happily go back and I would recommend it to my friends.

Have just returned from a fabulous 10 days in Prinçay. Mark and Sam were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is very spacious and well equipped. If you are after peace and quiet in a rural location this is the property for you.

Nous avons passé un superbe moment de partage entre amis grace au logement de Samantha. Les deux gîtes sont superbe et très spacieux , très bien équipés. La propriété est magnifique, le jardin est très grand, et superbement entretenue . le paradis sur terre ! Vous ne manquerez de rien, Samentha a été à notre écoute tout au long du séjour ! Merci encore pour les fraises du jardin nous nous sommes régalé ! Nous reviendrons sans douter , allez y les yeux fermés . Encore un grand merci à Sam ses filles et son mari !
