😊: Location, cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, safe parking, great view. Lots of storage in main bedroom. 😢: Upstairs bedroom very small and lacked privacy..

😊: The location of this property is fantastic. Walking distance to everything, and the sea/beach is across the road. We spent a day swimming in the sea, and it was the perfect day. There was a great range of information available from the owners in a file, and we needed a doctor for my 11 year old and it was within walking distance. It was fully equipped and very clean. We opted to clean the apartment ourselves rather than pay 60 euro. We loved how it had parking and we didnt need to use the car as we walked everywhere.. 😢: So I stayed here with my children, and I found the sloped roof (we're a tall family) difficult. The sloped stairs to the two single beds are only suitable for competent stair users; they are not suitable for children under 6...and teenagers would struggle. We were there, and the temperatures were above 25 degrees, and it was HOT in the apartment. There was a fan available, and it was brilliant, so the owners are to be commended for thinking about this. I absolutely hated when the owner was checking how clean we left the apartment before we departed. When he came back to collect the key, he checked upstairs, the bathroom, the fridge/freezer the shower and the cupboards. I felt like a bold schoolgirl waiting to be corrected...however, maybe people do steal and leave things in bad condition, so I understand. We left everything the way we found it!!!.

😊: The location and view were fantastic, the kitchen has been renovated to a good standard with plenty of utensils.. 😢: The upstairs bedroom was unsuitable for our 4 year old, which meant he had to stay in the downstairs bed with one of us. And the other adult had to stay in a bed upstairs. I'm not sure how even another child would be able to sleep in the second bed upstairs with it being so close to the slanted roof. The pillows were flat, uncomfortable and we were only provided with 1 pillow per person. Luckily I had brought one in the car with me for travelling from the UK, otherwise my neck would have been extremely sore from the lack of pillows. The sofa was also just too small and uncomfortable. We had looked forward to relaxing to some Netflix once the little one was asleep, but the sofa was just so small and uncomfortable to relax and the TV was small and very poor sound we could barely hear it. We also had to pay 60 euros cleaning fee AFTER being expected to strip the bedding and sweep the floors, clean the worktops, empty the trash and wash the dishes ourselves, or clean the entire apartment ourselves. 60 euros is cheeky really considering othe places charge much less and do not ask you to do half of the cleaning yourself anyway. Lovely apartment in a great location, however I wouldn't return due to the lack of comfort and cleaning expectations/fees..

😊: The standard of the apartment was very high. Modern, clean and well located with off street parking. The personal touch was great with lots of information about Granville and the area. 😢: Nothing.
