Apartment/ flat - Duingt

No holiday home is perfect, but this one is very, very good.We loved the private, shared lakeside garden, swimming in the turquoise lake, the beautiful views.The apartment itself is a good size, with well equipped kitchen, effective aircon, generally comfortable but could do with a little attention in places.The village of Duingt (pr Dwang) has a great bakery, a couple of shops, some bars and restaurants. Exactly what you need.The town of Annecy is special and worth a visit, just 20 minutes up the road. There's great walking in the hills surrounding the village, a famous paragliding centre for those inclined, while the high Alps are a hour's drive. If you love activity holidays, this place has got it all. Alternatively, just sit back on a sun lounger with a good book and soak up the quiet mountain-lake vibes. It's all good.

Very convenient location for our needs, both bathing in the lake and walking in the mountains. Well equipped kitchen, view of the lake from the balcony. Pity there was no Wifi. We enjoyed the beautiful medieval village of Duingt! Very convenient with food shop and bakery within a couple of minutes walking. Several restaurants within walking distance. Friendly neighbours who gave us recommendations about the area.

Appartement agréable et bien équipé (machine à laver, lave-vaisselle, four, four micro-ondes, etc...). Accès privé au lac avec ponton. Vue du balcon simplement magnifique.

Lovely stay, main road is quite busy so glad we weren't here in Summer. Property good location and lovely to swim off pontoon. Listing said about a boat but there wasn't one. Overall great break away and would recommend

The apartment is well located and access to the lake is fantastic! On arrival in Annecy we were in touch with the property manager who met us near the apartment and told us everything we needed to know. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our holiday. The neighbours were all really friendly and made us feel welcome as we got to know them by the lake. The most impressive thing about the apartment is the access to the lake, just a walk across the grass and you can dip your toes in the water. Compared to other apartments and places to stay in and around Annecy, this apartment offers fantastic value for money and is a real gem, we will certainly be back next year.
