Appartement cosy au cœur de Toulon - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: Air conditioning and very well maintained clean apartment. 😢: The sofa was not very comfortable for sleeping.

😢: We had emailed host to say we would arrive between 2 and 3 pm. It clearly stated that the host would meet us at the apartment. We knew something was wrong when the taxi driver looked at the address and shook his head. He dropped us off in front of a closed door in what could only be described as a dodgy part of town. We waited for 45 minutes for the host to turn up. During this time we witnessed two “transactions “ done on the street in front of us as. I called the host multiple times with no answer. With my wife becoming increasingly nervous as the same car came past for the third time we abandoned the address and found alternative accommodation. Eventually the host contacted us with demand of sending a photo of my passport to his WhatsApp number while I understand this is normal at a hotel I was reluctant to send to an unverified number. The next correspondence showed it was plain the host had no intention of meeting us instead giving us instructions on how to access the apartment ourselves. The door opened to 6 other apartments so again was not that secure. To sum up even though the apartment might have been lovely the neighbourhood appeared way to dangerous for us to feel safe. We didn’t stay either night..

😊: Very spacious, located in the city center, lots of equipment for comfortable living, TV, AC, good value for money.. 😢: It seemed that the apartment was not cleaned 100% because the mirrors were dirty, unpleasant entry to the apartment..

Très bien situé mais mériterait...<br>#128578; L'appartement est équipé de façon efficace. La climatisation fonctionne. Il est extrêmement bien situé, en centre ville près du port. C'est son point fort.<br>#128577; Le manque de réactivité du propriétaire qui nous a fait perdre presque 2 heures. Le ménage très approximatif (réfrigérateur pas vidé, de la vaisselle en attente sur l'égouttoir, pas de nettoyage sous et derrière le canapé (le propriétaire a nettoyé devant nous des mégots de cigarettes, des papiers, ..)). Quant à ́'ordre... le linge de maison est rangé en boule sur des étagères ou encore à sécher sur l'étendoir. Mais le propriétaire est super sympa !
