😊: Perfect location. Very nice host. Very suitable for a few days at the cote d’azur. 😢: A dishwasher would be nice.

😊: Good location, but be prepared for some steps! The host is veeeeery nice and picked us up from the station! :). 😢: Coming back up the stairs in the night, although the whole city is like that. During the day view is amazing though..

😊: The studio is situated within a smart, quiet gated complex above the port Garavan area of Menton. We found it a very comfortable base for a short break - very clean and well equipped. Eric was a great host - communication was very good and he met us on arrival to show us around. The highlight was the beautiful (shared) pool which was never too busy and has fantastic views over the coast and Menton old town. The location had many positives: the area was quieter than the centre of Menton; it is close to a grassy park with olive trees and picnic areas, as well as a beautiful botanical garden (Jardin Val Rahmeh) which is well worth a visit for 8 Euros. There is a good supermarket 15 minutes away. It’s close to Menton Garavan station and bars and restaurants in the port area. There are several pleasant walking routes into Menton old town and to the beaches. As we were travelling by train, we were getting around on foot: it is a steep climb up to the studio and can be hard work in hot weather, especially carrying shopping (although a wheeled trolley was helpfully provided). 😢: The air conditioning wasn’t working for the first few days of our stay - this had been resolved when we left.
