Appartement Michelet - Clim, piscine & parking

😊: It feels more like staying in someone's home while they're away than in a traditional hotel—and that's exactly what gives this place its charm. It's thoughtfully designed for people on vacation and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only thing I'd recommend is bringing your own bed linen and towels if possible. Other than that, I really have nothing to complain about.. 😢: If guests are expected to bring their own bed linen and towels and leave the accommodation clean, just say so. Most people will understand and appreciate knowing the expectations in advance..

😊: We liked that it was a secured gated apartment, and we loved the spacious rooms..the location was great. We walked to Carcassonne Castle with was amazing. There was lots to do and even the largest cave in the world, which was very good.. 😢: However, the apartment was very tired looking, light fittings hanging from the ceiling, hob that didn't work, crockery and pans and towels that had seen better days. The instructions to get into the property weren't correct, and we had to contact the owner and do a video following the instructions he had given us, stressful..

😊: The apartment matched the photos — it was clean and pleasant.. 😢: There were some inconveniences during our stay: the Wi-Fi was not set up, and we had to configure it ourselves. Access to the pool was not possible, as we were not given the magnetic key. There were also some basic essentials missing in the apartment, such as toilet paper, garbage bags, etc..

😊: Carcassonne is beautiful. The apartment is in a good location, 20 minutes walk from the medieval city and is in a very quiet and peaceful private gated community area with a lovely community pool. The apartment is spacious and could be lovely if it was clean, properly equipped and if everything worked.. 😢: The apartment had not been cleaned. The sheets were dirty. There were very few towels and they were dirty. The bins were full. Nobody ever came to clean it. The shower is held together with tape. The WiFi didn't work. Two of the five outdoor chairs are broken. For me, the most inconvenient was that there was no key to the pool. When I spoke to the property agent/contact he said the key was lost and he couldn't get another and that I had to ask other people who were already swimming to let me in. So I couldn't go swimming when I wanted to, only when other people were already in the pool . The agent didn't seem to care about any of the above problems. I could NOT recommend this apartment..

😊: Good price for the location close to the old city.. 😢: The apartment was not clean. Dust everywhere, and worst of all, the sheets were clearly not changed with the things we found on it. The apartment needs more attention to details, to make it more comfortable to the guests..
