😊: Close to St. Martin and peaceful. Well equipped.. 😢: All was good..

😊: Location was good.. 😢: The property was not in a suitable state for letting, and the agents, Hoomy, were a nightmare to deal with. On arrival we tried to use the washing machine, but it would not work, trapping our clothes inside. Before we arrived the fuseway for the machine must have tripped, because there was no power to it. The following day Hoomy took our washing away, and restored the power. That resulted in the electricity to the whole flat tripping off throughout the day. That problem was rectified when the washing machine was again switched off at the fuseway. The property details said there was a a barbecue, but it was in fact a filthy ploncher, which also did not work. I cleaned it, and when the Hoomy rep came he said the ignition system did not work. They tried to rectify the situation by providing us with a lighter, but that meant lifting up the heavy grill. Also as the electricity failed, we did not feel safe using the terrace, which is reached by a narrow spiral staircase. In the living area there is a hob and a fire both carrying labels saying they were "decorative". This meant that they were not working. To be consistent Hoomy should have put decorative labels on the washer, dryer, ploncher, and electricity supply. Hoomy affered 100 Euros compensation, but withdrew the offer because I failed to reply to their offer within a couple of days. The woooden decking on the roof terrace is rotting at the sides and needs to be replaced before somebody puts their foot through it..

😊: House has everything and more than you need. Great location.. 😢: Only thing i can think of is that the ceiling light in the bedroom didn't work. Plenty of lamps to make up for it though..
