😊: Lovely apartment clean and tidy, well furnished and had everything we needed. Two powerful fans were very useful as the weather was extremely hot. Very well located at the centre of the old town, plenty of places to eat drink and shop nearby. There is paid parking nearby, free parking 5 minutes walk away, and you can stop outside to unload your car for a short time. Communication with the owner was excellent, and she is not far away. Access via keybox was seamless. 😢: The apartment is on the first floor, with a fairly steep staircase, so would be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. Lack of air conditioning was a handicap as it was very hot weather while we were there..

😊: Central Chinon position Excellent bed and shower and kitchen fascilites. 😢: 2 floors up no lift but the view of the citadel made it worthwhile Excellent information to find close street park.
