Au Coeur du Village Bassillac Périgueux

😊: The property has been very well renovated in all respects. The utility room had a good quality fridge and a washing machine. The kitchen was in very good order, well equipped, including an induction hob. We were there during a heat wave, but the property was always cool, being an old stone building with shutters on all the windows. Each bedroom had a good ventilator, which we rarely needed to use, despite the oppressive heat outside. There was a large external area for our exclusive use. The host was welcoming.. 😢: Being older than many guests, we would have appreciated a hand rail in the shower, and maybe a non-slip mat, but this would not be a requirement for other visitors. In short, there was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

😊: Well equipped kitchen, a bright room. Nice outdoor covered courtyard for eating outside.. 😢: Although rooms were clean the kitchen crockery and cutlery weren’t. Also the chairs outside were soiled. Beds were rather small. Sitting/ indoors dining room dark and chilly. Extra payment for towels and bed sheets. No shampoo..
