Awesome flat central Paris - Bastille Aligre Lyon

We became temporary Parisian residents in this amazing flat and neighborhood, buying baguettes every morning from a different boulangerie and finding just the right produce for home-cooked meals at the famous outdoor market right outside our building. There were also endless restaurants to choose from, but leaving the beautiful flat, with breathtaking views, was difficult. The balcony was just what we needed to sit back, relax as we drank in Paris spread out before us…as we drank crisp roses we purchased from little wine shops and the Franprix, a well-stocked supermarket, just steps from our door. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the bedrooms were just the right size. Two rooms were a little more kid-friendly than our 20-something kids were hoping for. But putting twin beds on the floor worked out fine. I wish there was a second toilet, but somehow there were rarely lines at the toilet for our family of four. We would stay here again, and are already planning our next trip to this beautiful home. And I can’t say enough about the homeowners. The booklet of food and sites to see they put together was invaluable; and made our vacation better than we could have imagined! And they were soooo responsive to all our needs. I’m wishing I was back there right now!

We had a fantastic stay at Christophe’s apartment in Paris. The building overlooks a great square that has a market (both knickknacks and fresh produce) everyday except Monday’s. There are a bunch of great restaurants, cafes, boulangeries and patesseries within a 2-3 minute walk of this place and we enjoyed many of them. The apartment is great. A picturesque view of Paris from the balcony, and you can even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance! The boys room was perfect for our 4 year old. He loved the bunk bed and the array of toys to play with. The reading nook was also super cute. Our 15 month old had a crib, changing table and age appropriate toys to enjoy as well. The washer and dryer was also a huge bonus giving us flexibility to pack a little less clothes. There is not any AC, but there’s enough cross ventilation with all the windows open. If you’re looking for a more residential experience while in Paris, then this is a fantastic place to stay. It took a little while (20+ min) via the Metro to get to some of the more central sights, but we highly recommend this place to families looking for a Parisian experience!

Super séjour dans bel appartement calme, très agréable à vivre en plein cœur du quartier animé d'Aligre. Merci au propriétaire pour son accueil et les renseignements fournis.

Et nous l'avons trouvée... Immense Merci à Christophe, Anne-Sy, et leurs enfants. Nous avons été accueillis comme des amis, chaleureusement, et avons été mis à l'aise immédiatement. L'appartement est parfait, propreté impeccable, spacieux, lumineux, idéalement situé, admirablement décoré, une invitation aux voyages. De plus, est mis à notre disposition un petit guide des bonnes adresses, testé et approuvé à plusieurs reprises. La terrasse est top ! Nous avions l'impression d'être "comme à la maison", les literies sont super confortables, la double douche est super. Possibilité d'utiliser les lave-linge, sèche-linge, lave-vaisselle... Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et ne rêvons que de revenir :D
