Beachside Villa. Avec grand jardin privé dans fortifiée Domaine

This was the 3rd year in a row we have stayed here and have booked again for next year! That says enough! Great view, comfy beds, Airco, communal pool with friendly locals, walking distance to the bakers, good contact with the owners. Close to the beach road, but you hardly notice the noise. Definite recommendation to all!

Hi dear Ruth and Nigel, I'll try to summarize what we felt about our stay and also to speak on behalf of all family members (we were with our daughter and her husband and two-year-old son). 1) The welcome : We were warmly and heartily welcome by John, our contact at the Real-Estate agency. He provided us with all necessary information and was available during our stay via sms, whenever needed. 2) The house and the swimming pool : We liked : We felt instantly at home with spacious rooms, a lot of light, nice decorations matching the Provence style, the available devices in the kitchen. The pool was very large and clean. We could relax and have fun, every day there ! It was also an opportunity to speak with the other inhabitants of the place who were, by the way, very welcoming and nice to talk with ! We disapproved : a) WC were not clean (not enough time or simply forgotten ???). So, we asked our contact at the Real-Estate Agency to ask the cleaners to come again the following day to fulfill proper cleaning of the toilets. John readily accepted and sent us back the cleaners the following morning. Perfect ! b) Bed linen and Bathroom towels were not clean, with stains (some of them old-dated but some others with strange smells). Some additional linen was available in chests of drawers in the bedrooms but they were not better. We highly recommend to replace all linens with new ones, same with the big towels (except two small green towels in the main bathroom which were obviously new). c) Devices agains mosquitoes : We were grateful that the living-room provided a lot of repellents of different kinds and candles/spirals supposed to repel/kill mosquitoes. But we'd suggest that mosquito nets be fixed on all windows to enable dwellers during the night to open them, while the air conditioning system.. 3) The view and location : The view was simply wonderful : we could admire the sea all day long ! This is definitely the big advantage of the house ! The location, near the Issambres harbour and restaurants, was perfect. The city center was so near that we could walk with the kid to see the fire works. 4) The car park inside the domain : It was a pity not to be able to occupy the 2nd place (because of the tree trunk). Fortunately for us another inhabitant, who did not need both places, told us to occupy one of them. We were rather lucky ! Thanks to Ruth Nigel & John for this almost perfect stay !

Just stayed a long weekend at this lovely villa. Everything worked perfectly; was really comfortable and as described.  Easy walk to the village; beatific floral domaine; and great Ste Maxime on your doorstep. The area is so full of history, beauty and wonderful scenery. This place is unique and is all we asked for!

We had a great stay here in the summer, with our two small boys. We had an amazing time, the house and location were just so wonderful. The owners have made the home so comfortable and the house has clearly been furnished and equipped with care. The house was really great for traveling with small children. It was (to our delight) very warm and sunny during our stay but the house stayed wonderfully cool and air cons was very well received . Our children loved the pool which was gated and safe, and being able to find shade, as well as the beautiful sun terrace, in the garden after a morning at the beach or in the pool served all our needs. We hope to visit again!

Two weeks here in this lovely house. Has everything you need. Good beds, good showers, great view, swimming pool on complex. Airco is always handy in the warm Summer months. Being able to walk to the baker's every day is a huge plus! Would definitely come back here!

The villa and garden were even more spacious than they looked in the photos with lots of open space and comfortable furniture in the living area and on the patio. The garden was a large shaded area with a short walk to the communal pool, where even in August it was fairly quiet, and there were comfortable sun loungers for private use. Two of the bedrooms opened onto a charming balcony and like the living area and garden, had a great sea view. The other bedroom and the bathrooms were plenty big enough to cope with a family of six. Nearby Les Issambres has two supermarkets and plenty of shops and eating places. A lovely venue from which to explore the St Tropez bay.

We had marvellous stay at Ruth and Nigel's house at Les Issambres. Prior to our reservation we were immediately charmed by the kindness of the couple and their nice way of communicating. At arrival, we were welcomed by the kind housekeeper, who's job is to make sure you have a good stay. The house is in very good condition and fitted the description perfectly. It is well-equiped and has a nice terrace with a comfortable lounge seat and a big Weber BBQ. We also enjoyed the parking space and huge common pool. I would also recommend this property for it's location: it has a well-maintained shadowrich garden, a great view at the sea and it takes only 50m to get to a small non crowded beach which is ideal for snorkeling and resting. The village itself is within walking distance and has a bakery, a grocery store and some nice restaurants. We will be back! :-)

The venue was very clean, ready and prepared for us. It was wonderful, and we'd recommend it to all our friends. A beautiful view of the sea, not far from St Tropez and the lovely Ste Maxime, and a nice little bar and coffee shop just a few hundred yards away. We're going again!
