😊: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.. 😢: Calling the host unreliable would be mild. Asked for my ID card in advance, no problem this far - never answered when I provided it. Declined my calls even when it was time for me to check in. The place looked abandoned, broken doorbells and letterbox, everything. Once I contacted customer service, suddenly the host bothered to communicate! Apparently I was required to leave an astronomical deposit, only by credit card, and this was his justification to totally ignore me. Absolutely taking the piss, this guy. Since there was no secure and traceable way to leave the deposit, I had it cancelled and refunded… while turning into a rotisserie chicken sitting in the street for several hours! Booking should not provide a platform for scammers..
