BEAUTIFUL VILLA 250m2 IN THE SUN WITH FULL SOUTH POOL

The Villa is in a fairly remote location at the end of a road in which there are spectacular, uninterrupted views down to the sea in the distance. However, the road/drive leading down to the villa is extremely steep and not for the faint hearted when approached by car. Although advertising space for 2 cars, this requires a lot of manoeuvring in a small space to ensure the first car out is always facing forward. There is a very modern, fully fitted kitchen which offered very good facilities. The main bedroom on the ground floor definitely had a wow factor with separate dressing room/toilet leading on to a bathroom with double sinks, sunken bath and step in shower. Unfortunately, 2 further bedrooms on the first floor were very basic in comparison, sharing a bathroom where the shower head was not attached to the wall. That said, there is a separate terrace for those bedrooms with table, chairs and fantastic hammock for relaxing in the evening. Internet access is virtually non existent which proved difficult for my adult children who rely on their phones for access to music and communication with their friends. TV reception was also very poor. Didier and Alexia were very welcoming hosts and always on hand to assist with any problems.

On a passé un super week end dans cette belle villa qui est très bien placee au bout d une coline offrant une superbe vue sur la mer, au calme. Tout est nickel avec des jolies touches provençales. Les propriétaires nous ont bien accueilli et nous ont apporté des produits des jardins environnants. Je récommende fortement ce bel endroit! Sauf pour les très jeunes enfants de moins de 3 ans car la piscine est tout prêt de la maison sans protection.

What can I say? Our holiday from start to finish was fantastic! The villa was amazing ! The pool was superb! Our 8 year old boy spent all his waking hours in the pool. The veranda had relaxing furniture , so we spent our evenings sat out drinking wine. Really releaxing. Our hosts were fantastic. They kindly took us to Nice, the supermarket and the train station. Such lovely lovely people, who were on hand if needed. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, with a lovely view, then this is the place for you. The surroundings are so peaceful. The villa interior is really spacious and has all amenities. Highly recommended to families or couples.

House was great. There were 3 adults and 2 young children on our trip. Pool was amazing to have for the kids. The house is a bit out of the way so having a car is a great idea. You can drive about 15 mins to the beaches in Cagnes sur mer, Antibes in about 30. There is a grocery store about 5 min drive in La Gaude. Nothing to walk to near the house as it’s in a residential area. We found the traffic in Nice to be very heavy at times, especially near old town. Menton is a beautiful beach area. The house had everything we needed for our stay with plenty of room. Take some bug spray as you need to keep windows open at night to cool the house down and the mosquitoes come right in. I would suggest some new bed linens for the house. The sheets and blankets were very rough and uncomfortable. The beds were a bit uncomfortable as well. Be sure to get some directions to the house before you go as the exact location will not locate on google maps. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Drove to many different areas.

We were a group of friends staying at this rustic, spacious villa with beautiful view in a quiet, remote mountain location 30 minutes from Nice. Alexia and Didier were friendly hosts who stay in another part of the property but gave us complete privacy. The villa has all the expected amenities to make us feel at home and we had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Five of us stayed just a short weekend but we had a fabulous time. We didn't hire a car and Didier generously gave us a lift to the shop to buy supplies, however I would recommend a car if you plan on heading out and about as it's a little out of the way. We got Ubers to and from and it was fine. Place was spotless. Beds were really comfortable. Alex and Didier were great hosts.

The couple are so lovely and made us feel very welcome. The villa is decorated very tastefully and has a great ground floor area. Great for family dining. The pool is fab, and my parents loved the room with a view. Overall we have had a wonderful time, the villa was spot on

We arrived exhausted after a very long 18 hour drive and the home owners were so nice to go and get fresh pizzas for us as a welcome gift with a bottle of wine and some snacks! We felt very welcome! We enjoyed our stay very much with two kids one baby and a 5 year old, wonderful pool, kitchen with everything you might need. Plenty of towels she even changed the beds after the first week. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great, luxurious and secluded house a short drive to the beach and village.
