Rural, quiet and beautiful. The area offers a lot of opportunty for siteseeing, good dining and relaxation with the support from the owners supporting this.

I would prefer to keep this location a secret so that I don't have to share it with others. The peace and quiet here is unparalleled. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and even cool during a heatwave. The private swimming pool with a view over the valley and galloping horses “Hugo” and “Scooby” complete the picture. The hosts are extremely friendly, easy to talk to and always there for you. If you want, you can help feed the horses and goats in the morning; if you want to sleep in, you won't be disturbed.I was a little sceptical that this location only received 10s, but I can't help but **gladly** agree with my predecessors: 10/10.

We really enjoyed our 10 night stay, in this beautiful gite. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the perfect place to stay. The host were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very well equipped.

This is a beautiful place to stay.In the heart of rolling Limousin countryside, surrounded by nature, but in a beautifully refurbished property with all mod cons.The hosts, also, could not have been better. There when we needed her, Maxine could not have been more helpful.100% recommend this property if you want to get away from it all for a while :)

We stayed in the farmhouse as the barn was already booked (they are next to each other) & it was just outstanding. Plenty of space, beautifully equipped, two log burners with plenty of wood (needed in March) Glorious rural surroundings, south facing enclosed garden, good dog walking and pretty villages with supermarkets within 15 mins Lovely hosts - couldn’t do enough for us, thoroughly recommend

Beautiful spot for our friend’s wedding nearby. Our daughter loved the horses, goats and peacocks. Maxine and Darren were so so accommodating and helpful. Loved the peaceful region and chilling in the garden. House had everything we needed. Recommend.

My wife and I had an excellent stay with Maxine and Darren. The Gîte was beautiful and the country views restful. There were many beautiful villages and several chateaus nearby to visit. Since we were here during a particularly hot time having the pool to cool off with was especially welcome. It was a nice balance between rushing around to see things and relaxing at the Gîte. We would definitely return and hope to do so very soon.

Wir waren zu dritt mit unserer kleinen Angsthündin bei Maxine Darren zu Gast. Das gesamte Gebäudeensemble wurde sehr liebevoll restauriert und die grosszügig geschnittene Unterkunft ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Der kleine 1,20m tiefe Pool wurde perfekt in die Landschaft eingebettet und bietet zusammen mit der Terasse einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Pferdekoppel und die umliegenden Wälder. Lediglich das Bett im oberen, halboffenen Schlafzimmer kann für Gäste über 1,90 m Körpergröße etwas problematisch werden-ich musste immer leicht diagonal liegen. :) Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und können diese wundervolle Perle nur wärmstens empfehlen.
