What an absolute gem of a place, a real hidden treasure. The house is beautifully decorated, with everything you could possibly need. Located in the most beautiful surroundings. Darren and Maxine are fantastic hosts, very warm and welcoming. They were fantastic with our children, who adored the animals. We can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderfully spacious house that was perfect for our family holiday with our adult children and young grandchildren. Especially appreciated was: the large, well- equipped kitchen/ dining room with plenty of space for cooking, dining and games around the table; several bathrooms; a chance to feed the animals and lots of outdoor space for the children; beautiful views and peaceful surroundings; the helpfulness and warmth of welcome from Maxine and Darren.

After spending last summer @juvet, the kids insisted on returning this year and bring friends along. We all had a wonderful time, the 5 kids were busy with the animals and bathing in the pool or lakes nearby. We will be back next year!

We had a greatl stay at Le Grand Juvet. Maxine and Darren are fantastic hosts, who react quickly on questions and gave nice tips for daily trips (such as a visit to the nearby zoo and a lake). The house Is tidy and has everything one needs. Would absolutely recommend!

Great House to stay with big family or friends, very friendly hosts living on the property with their horses, goats, baby chickens and other animals. The kids loved it. Also the game room and the pool of course. A lot to do in the area, Limoge visit, Castles and the Richard the Lionheart Route for example. For sure we will be back to explore more.

We loved our stay at Le Grand Juvet. Maxine was very helpful, the house was very clean, comfortable and absolutely perfect for a stay with young children. We loved the views over the sheep, the horses and even the goats. I can definitely recommend it if you’re here to explore the countryside!

Writing this on the ferry on our way home from the most fabulous two weeks at the farmhouse. From the minute we arrived we were captivated by the view from the house, garden and our private pool area. It was easy to spend hours soaking up the sun and the beauty of the stunning countryside. Such a peaceful place to spend a relaxing holiday. The farmhouse itself was amazingly spacious and comfortable with plenty room for my husband and I, three semi-grown up children and two Springer Spaniels to all have our own space. The decor of the house was absolutely charming and so tasteful and the house provided everything we needed and more. The garden was spacious and fenced so our dogs were secure. The pool area with decking and sun loungers was where we spent a large part of every day and it was completely private and caught the sun all day long. We can’t even begin to compliment our hosts, Maxine and Darren, enough. They were so welcoming (even at 9.30pm when we first arrived) and so helpful. One of the first mornings of the holiday, our Springer Spaniel Hollie, got a grass seed in her ear on our walk and was very unhappy. I messaged Maxine and Darren at 7.30am and they sorted a vet appointment for us and clear directions, and Hollie was seen by 8.45am! They were so relaxed and made us feel very welcome in the stunning home they have created. Without a doubt, the best holiday we have had in France!
