Modern facilities in a small and quiet village. Beautiful views and nice to walk to the village center for bread, basics and couple of restaurants. Also nice that it’s driving distance to the beach if you want (45min to sainte Maxime). For bigger groceries would recommend the hypermarché carrefour trans en Provence (25min), although Pierre might recommend something else, we never asked really. Keep in mind Pierre only speaks French. Very friendly hosts and if anything is wrong quick to fix or help. They live in the house just below this one, so you can just walk over. The check in was a bit unclear to us. We didn’t call up front what time we expected to arrive, which is what I’d recommend to do a couple of hours in advance. Saw some comments about the bridge and road being small to this house. Which is true, but manageable. We just had to go back and forth to make the turn onto the bridge, since it’s small and the turn is very sharp. But no damage or anything. Overall would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed vacation with nice views. Think good value for money.

Pierre’s house was very clean and well equipped with even 3 bathrooms and a pretty decent kitchen. We loved the large terrace, ping pong table and barbecue area. Our dog enjoyed time relaxing near the pool and long walks in the area (Claviers, Figanières, L’Endre, plage de Pampelonne). We enjoyed the small village of Callas, wine tastings and exploring the Provence by car.

The house is exceptionally well equipped & clean. The air-conditioning & electric remote window shutters are fantastic at cooling the house The pool area very nice & has high quality outside furniture As in other reviews,the property is on a hillside & accessed via a narrow ascending/ descending winding lane. I'd estimate its about 2m wide with a stone wall on one side and a drop off the edge on the other. So ensure you're confident about the size of your vehicle The property is dog friendly (so is the host), just be aware there's a low voltage electric fence around the perimeter, that your own pet will have to avoid Occasionally the hosts dog wanders around the garden so, be aware of both of these things if you take your own pet The house is situated in the grounds of the hosts house, about 25m away. We chose this property because of the reviews of peaceful tranquility & only sounds of cicadas, the breeze & birds. Unfortunately, the hosts had their family visiting the same week as our vacation. The noise from their children screaming & squealing in the pool intrusively spoilt our trying to read and relax. The proximity of the property to the hosts house inevitably means that their visitors are your visitors. If the tranquility is something that you want to be sure of, it would be worth contacting the host to avoid the dates that they have family staying with them. During the times they were out/away, we really could appreciate the peacefulness of other reviews.

What a beautiful house, full of luxury! A kitchen with everything in it, a swimming to cool off, relaxing chairs. We really want to come back to this house! And the owners are really nice and give you a warm welcome! Hope to come back soon!

We are just back from 2 wonderful weeks in Callas and will come back for sure by Pierre and Sandrine if we decide to visit the Provence again in the future. The house is brand new, spacious, clean, well equipped (probably better than my own house), situated 5 minutes from the center of Callas where you can pick up your fresh bread the morning and enjoy some really nice restaurants. Most important for us, the house is ideal for kids (we have 2 kids 2,5 years old and 5 at this time) and the environment is extremely peaceful, only the cigalles will sing in your ears. In these 2 weeks, we enjoyed lazy days at the pools, went to the cost (Frejus / Ste Maxime / St Aygulf / St Tropez), went to the Verdon and visited some villages around. I see in a previous comment that the owners don’t speak English – According to my partner who is Dutch and enjoyed small talks with Pierre in the early morning, Pierre speaks perfectly English. You couldn’t imagine better holidays, everything was there and perfect. Thank you so much !! We definitively recommend this location.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at this property in Callas. It's probably the best holiday home we've rented - amazing views from the terrace (which the pictures don't do justice), really clean, great layout, furniture and facilities, brilliant location as it's only a 5 minute walk to the town for restaurants, shops and little market, 45 minutes to the beach so away from the cote d'azure crowds, lovely decor and very nice owners. Pierre and Sandrine don't speak english - but don't let that put you off as you'll be missing out on a really stunning property.

We've had a great time in this house. The interior is all new, clean and well decorated! Outside its very quiet and still just a couple of minutes from the center. Thanks to Pierre and his wife for tis great place, something to remember. They are very helpfull if you need to know something. We've visited a lot in the area: moulin de callas, the parfum city of Grasse, lots of little cities nearby and bigger cities at the coast: Cannes, St Tropez, ... If we stayed home, we could use the two pools! So if you want to visit south of France, need some time to relax and want to see some products of the area, this is the perfect place to stay!
