Belle villa familiale avec piscine chauffée au calme

We had a really lovely stay at Thierry and Laure’s property. The house was immaculate and well equipped to deal with large groups. There was plenty to do in the property for all. Location wise, it was about a 10 minute drive to the closest shop. Watch out for mosquitos, they’re rife in the area. We all got bitten a lot! Laure was incredibly helpful throughout the stay and was easily contactable via text during the week. Overall, a lovely stay and one we’d highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here as a family of 5 and family of 3. The house is very beautiful and modern with everything you need to hand. The swimming pool is a real highlight which we used constantly and set in a nice large garden with lots of outdoor seating for relaxing as well as meals etc. Laure was there upon our arrival to discuss everything as well as saying we should be in touch should we have any questions regarding the local area (which we did!) Just 1hr from the house is the surf town of Lacanau which was well worth the visit and Bordeaux itself is just 20mins away. We definitely needed a hire car so maybe bear that in mind but overall a fantastic stay!!

The house was nice and in a remote location, yet accessible to Bordeaux. It was a bit further to the city than we expected, but not awful. The pool was great and the house was lovely. Just three things to be aware: 1. There were no linens and towels provided. Maybe for local people, that would be ok. For those coming from out of the area, it is not reasonable. 2. The house is a bit dark inside. 3. The house has no A/C and it was very hot in the summer. The lack of fans made it even more unbearable for a few nights. Our visit was at the beginning of July, so just be aware. There are also lots of mosquitos because the house in set apart in around a wooded area. So even opening the windows was not possible because the mosquitos would eat you alive. Overall, it was a great house. That said, we will not stay there again because of the heat in the area around the time of our visits in the summer.

Modern, clean and well equipped house, with amazing heated pool. Children spent most of the week in it. Pool much bigger than appears in the photos, in fact whole house bigger than photos suggested. Stylish house. Had a brilliant week there as a family with two young children, and with friends also with two young children. Large trampoline and swings and slides, ping pong table and other games in large garden great, so barely left house! Also good house only 20 mins drive from Bordeaux airport too so easy with young children, and quick to visit Bordeaux too. Owner very helpful and responded very quickly each time, and lovely to have wine and jam etc in fridge on arrival. Would absolutely recommend.
