Bienvenue à la Vie'Lavande, au coeur du Minervois (climatisée et privative)

We spend a week in mai in this pleasant house. Despite wet and a bit cold weather our boys enjoyed the pool. When they were cold they got in to get a hot bath inside. We enjoyed Canal du Midi and Carcassonne and the beatiful surrounding and the view on the Pyrenees. Full equipment in the kitchen! And very kind hosts who are nearby and willingly to help if you need anything. Point of improvement; there are a couple of dogs wandering over the property. They do no harm, but, as they are animals, sometimes leave some droppings.... - the large bed could be better Overall; to be recommended!

Sehr schöne und sehr gut ausgestattete Villa mit Terrasse und privatem Pool auf einem großen gepflegten Grundstück. Ruhige erhöhte Lage mit tollem Ausblick bis in die Pyrenäen. Ein hervorragender Ort für einen entspannten oder aktiven Urlaub: Villa, Terrasse und Pool genießen, Ausflüge (Minerve, Carcassonne, Beziers, …), Wandern (ein Wanderweg führt direkt an der Villa vorbei), Fahrradfahren, eine Bootsfahrt auf dem Canal du Midi (kleiner Hafen in Homps in ca. 15 Minuten erreichbar) und vieles mehr. Corinne und Jeff sind sehr sympathische und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Herzlichen Dank und Grüße ins Minervois.

We stayed a few weeks in the house of kind owners Jeff and Corine. The house is very comfortable and clean, good equipped and spacious enough for two couples. The views from the terrace are spectacular and the small neighborhood is calm. The Minervois is a very nice region with a rural landscape and its wines were a discovery for us. A place to return to.

N'hésitez pas à réserver cette location. Si vous cherchez le calme, une belle maison et un magnifique environnement et bien n'hésitez pas! Nous recommandons les longues soirées sur la terrasse avec vue imprenable sur les Pyrénées. Une semaine n'est pas suffisante pour faire tout ce qui est possible aux alentours et pleinement profiter de la maison. Encore merci pour ces belles vacances. Chantal et Mathieu.

My family and I had a very special holiday here. We would highly recommend the beautiful Lavender Villa to any family with children. It has just what you need, shops and local towns are near by. A lovely drive out on an afternoon or maybe an evening. Jeff and Corinne are very pleasant and helpful, When we needed any help they arrived within 10 minutes. I would highly recommended and I would definitely consider coming back for another holiday.

We just got back from three enjoyable weeks of holiday time at Vie'Lavande. This house is very well equipped and was quite comfortable for a winter stay. Everything was very clean and in good working order. Being in the hills, the house has wonderful vistas over the valley to the Pyrenees. I don't know whether three weeks of sunshine "come with the property" but they did for us. J.F. and Corinne were very welcoming hosts, providing quick answers to any questions that arose. The setting is great for walking and bicycling with access to a wide variety of routes. It is in a tiny hamlet which made for a quiet time - just the way we hoped. It is also not far from good grocery shopping and, of course, a variety of wineries with excellent products. Highly recommended!

We stayed end of October 2016 , and were lucky the weather was splendid. The house is as the pictures on the site show. The owners are very friendly , we had a warm welcome. They are easy to join for even the smallest question. We were 6 (3 adults and 3 children) , and really had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The fireplace (with gas) was lovely on the chilly evenings. There are electric heatings in every room , so the house can be rented in autumn as well. The kitchen is well equiped , everything is there. And what a top regriferator ! The garden and terrace are nice and sunny , it was a pleasure to enjoy the sun there. The 2 bathrooms are very comfortable , the beds were really good. We slept well. The house is uphill Cesseras , in a very quiet area and offering a nice view on the plain and the Jouarres lake. In the region there is so much to discover : walking trails through the wineyards and along the Gorges , Minerve , Narbonne, Canal du Midi , Béziers, Gruissan, Carcassonne, castle ruins (Lastours , Peyrepertusse , Quéribus) , caves , wine tasting, charming villages , 9 locks of Fonserannes etc... In a few words : this is a great house in a great region.

We arrived after a long drive from the Cote d'Azur and Vie Lavande provided the perfect remedy. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and set in fantastic gardens, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Due to the timing of our visit - mid September - the majority of the flowers had sadly lost their colour but it didn't take much imagination to see how colourful the garden would be in full bloom. The surrounding area is great, with plenty of interesting things to see and places to explore. The ancient town of Minerve is literally minutes away and Carcassonne is only an hour's drive. Languedoc is one of the best wine regions in the world and the wine in the immediate area is especially good. You can buy a bottle for less than £5 that would easily cost twice this amount in the UK. I would recommend hiring bicycles and exploring the local area that way, as the roads are quiet and there are plenty of recognised routes, such as the Canal du Midi. Jeff and Corrine are very attentive and helpful. They are very welcoming and take genuine pride in their villa, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you're a couple or a family looking for a quiet, secluded and comfortable place to stay in one of the most beautiful and picturesque areas of France, Vie Lavande is the perfect choice.
