Cabourg in the fan (center) 3 minutes walk from the beach

The location is perfect. A few minutes (7-ish) walk to the beach. Just behind the main street with restaurants and small interesting shops. Only 3 minutes to the supermarket with a great assortment. It's a great place to wind down. The house itself is very complete with everything in place. It's typical french which for me means it's build for use instead for showing off. The rooms are spacious and even with the 5 of us we had a spare bed. Because it was really hot during our stay we also used the couch/bed in the living room. When you open the windows you get a nice breeze through the room and there are NO musquitos. The only downside is that you can hear the seagulls better. They are quite noisy but we are familair with the sound. If you close the windows you can hardly hear them. We also enjoyed the seperate kitchen which is big enough to sit in while the kids occupy the living. It's to bad you don't have a small terrace that would be perfect. But we didn't miss it that much because you are litterally in the nice atmosphere of the village when you step out the door. Contact with Cynthia was excellent. We had a small setback with the car on our way there and she was really helpfull and supporting. We turned the problems in a nice roadtrip by train because we already knew that we didn't need the car once we were in Cabourg. We really enjoyed Cabourg it is a touristic place and a small gem mainly used by french tourist (we think). We will definitely will return if we can

The host is very nice, communication was easy in English and French. The house is a charming, nice, hidden spot, 3 minutes to the beach, extremely central but still very calm in a side street that is a cul-de-sac. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room has a TV with a Chromecast and fast Wifi. The bathroom.is very nice and modern. Tip: for breakfast try “Chez Meuniers” just across the Main Street. Parking can be a hassle, but even during high season we found a spot not farther than 2 minutes away.

Maison très propre avec tout le nécessaire située au coeur de Cabourg à proximité de toutes les commodités. Propriétaire au contact facile. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Jolie maison de ville au calme, propre, très bien équipée, en plein centre ville (mais sans aucune nuisances sonores) et à 5 mn à pied de la plage. Que dire de plus ?

Maison coquette, à 30 m de la rue piétonne commerciale, et à 250 m de la plage, et pourtant calme, on y dort et s'y réveille bien. Personnel sympathique, discret et attentionné. Merci.

What a wonderful surprise! We booked at the last minute, having cancelled plans in the south because of the heat wave. The town of Cabourg was lovely,, well-placed for cycling and with terrific beaches and excellent restaurants. And the apartment itself was terrific, well-furnished and comfortable for our group of four. The owner and manager were extremely easy to deal with, and very flexible. We'd be glad to stay there again.
