Charmante maison de ville

😊: Good location in terms of being walking distance to the centre of Mirepoix. Comfortable beds, great shower with good water pressure. Plenty of surface space by the bathroom sink for your stuff. Clean and modern house with space to eat at a table inside as well as some outside space at the back with a table and chair, plus a sofa. Generally well-equipped, with a big fridge. We didn't use it but there was a washing machine. Good communication with the host, they were quick to respond. It was easy to park nearby. The double bed is a small double, but if you are a couple staying here and need a bigger bed, there is a second bedroom with two single beds.. 😢: There was only one towel per person (for the shower), it would have been nice to have a smaller one as well. The kitchen is not fully equipped for self-catering - it has 2 gas rings, a microwave and a tiny, counter-top portable oven thing. We found it difficult to cook an evening meal without a proper oven. The house upstairs gets very hot at night in summer, it would have been nice to have a portable fan provided. We couldn't have the windows open because of the noise into the early hours from the house across the street, which seemed to be a hostel or something similar. The noise is not something the host can do anything about, I mention it only in case someone else sees the location and thinks 'that will be a nice quiet residential street'!.
