Charmingly restored 3 cottage in medieval village of Flavigny sur Ozerain

Beautiful stone cottage - loved the ladders and wood stove - the kids loved loft bedroom. Was great to walk into such a beautiful little village - was the perfect stay in regional France !

Idéal en demi saison .<br>#128577; Pas de deuxième douche pour la chambre du haut ( juste toilettes et lavabo ) . Il faudrait préciser sur l annonce que seuls des adultes sans problème de mobilité peuvent être reçus ( trappes et escaliers d accès très raide ) . Pour les personnes frileuses , prévoir une couette supplémentaire car une partie du logement est semi enterrée

A countryside idyll<br>#128578; A character property beautifully decorated. The little house was set in a beautiful meadow very slightly outside the village. We were awoken by sweet birdsong every morning.The owner left a big vase of Lilac and jar or made made jam which was lovely.<br>#128577; The property is basically one room on three levels. Each level accessible by an internal setup ladder .Ok for nibble people-unsuitable for young children or elderly. Not mentioned in the booking process (which we thought very odd) guests are expected to Hoover , mop and clean accommodation before leaving or risk a 50 Euro fine.

Absolut ruhig gelegen. Kurze Fußentfernung nach Flavigny sur Ozerain ... einem der schönsten Dörfer , daß wir je gesehen haben, mit Bäcker und kleinem Lebensmittelshop. Sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe (Le Cheval Blanc ! .. ) Haus ist klein (würde nicht mit mehr als 2 Personen dort unterkommen) , hat aber alles was man braucht.... z. B. zwei Terassen ! Romantisch und Traumhaft

Das Haus ist kompakt aber wunderbar eingerichtet, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Treppen im Haus sind steil aber machbar, außerdem kann man wirklich gut den Weg über die Terrasse nehmen. Der große Garten und die Terrassen bietet viel Platz und wunderbare Ruhe. Der Ort und die Umgebung bieten zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Weingut in nächster Nähe. Ein Essen in der Ferme-Auberge LA GRANGE im Ort ist sehr zu empfehlen, auch für den kleinen Hunger zur Mittagszeit. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben und sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a lovely quiet Christmas break at La Tour, enjoying walks in the countryside and reading by the fire. The property is charming and well designed and the kitchen is well equipped - we cooked at home every night except the first when we ordered from Louise's menu of home cooked regional specialities. Such a treat! We'd love to come again in the spring!

The house is a little jewel in a lovely area next to the pittoresque Flavigny-sur-Ozerain. The gîte is clean, charming and extraordinary and we spent a calm and wonderful Christmas in this beautiful place. The fireplace made the house warm and cosy. The gîte is very well equipped with everything you need. We also loved the hiking paths around the village. Louise is a very nice person and a marvelous host. We recommend the house and its spot. It must be wonderful to be there also in another season and to enjoy the lovely garden too.

Louise is a great host and her beef burgundy is delicious. The house is absolutely charming and we very much enjoyed our evenings sitting outside. Even though the house is quite small it is equipped with everything needed. There is a great selection of books and DVDs. The location is great and there is plenty to see and do. The town of Flavingy-sur-ozerain is gorgeous. We very much enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back!
