Cotignac - Wonderful Provencal Villa with pool and mature gardens, Sleeps 6

Probably one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. Beautiful setting, lovely pool, excellent wi-fi, property clean, and secure garden for our dog. Everything you need. Nat was excellent as a host.

Villa Lavande is wonderfully located, secluded and well designed, as well as being well equipped. The four of us had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Many thanks.

A lovely stay, wonderful location, beautiful countryside. The house is very practical, with everything to hand, the pool is perfect and Cotignac is a delight. Nat (the manager) and husband Jeremy (pool) are charming and helpful. I would give it the highest recommendation.

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire à la villa Lavande ! L'accueil par Jennifer est adorable, Jill tient la maison à la perfection. Tout est conforme à l'annonce, la villa est très bien équipée et les voisins sont suffisamment éloignés pour avoir l'impression d'être seuls au monde, à seulement 2 kilomètres du centre du village de Cotignac et au coeur de la magnifique Provence verte.

This is an amazing place. Perfectly located just outside the city center, with everything you need. The villa offers everything you could wish for. Lush garden, great pool area - and additional places filled with shade, to be used when the sun is at it’s highest. Everything at the Villa is of highest quality. In addition to that the host and acommodation is close to perfect. Nearby town of cotignac is magical, the ambience is great and filled with charm. easy parking, lots of restaurants and great places to explore. We will be back!

We got everything we hoped for. Countryside but close to a great small town and with grocery shopping just minutes away. Great pool and a big beautiful house. Super host and acommodation.

Very highly recommended. I had wondered when I booked it why there weren't more reviews but now think people may be trying to keep this property a secret ! We stayed as a family with 3 teenagers in August and it ticked all the right boxes for us. All 5 of us really liked it. The property is comfortable, well furnished and very light and spacious inside and out. Excellent WiFi also. The pool and gardens were very relaxing with lots of different seating areas to take advantage of sun and shade. Nearby Cotignac had easy parking, lots of restaurants and interesting areas to explore. It was also appreciated that we were given a warm welcome by Jennifer on arrival, shown around the property and given recommendations of places to visit. Many thanks . Hoping to return.

When we booked this property, we thought it looked nice, but none of the pictures truly prepared us for what awaited. This has to be one of the most wonderful, spacious, and comfortable properties we have ever stayed in abroad, and we have stayed in a fair few! The house itself is so roomy, and your every need is catered for, from the American-style fridge, with iced water on tap, to the coffee maker. With two teenagers, we particularly valued there being double beds in each of the rooms, as well as separate showers/bathrooms. Everybody had plenty of space to relax in, and, with nine different seating areas to choose from, there was something for everyone. Fans in each of the rooms were a huge bonus as well. The pool and gardens were just wonderful. We hadn't realised just how much land surrounded the property. The whole place felt truly luxurious. The town of Cotignac was lovely. Unfortunately you can't really walk into town from the property, which was a real shame, but parking was easy (except on market day), and so we really didn't mind. There are plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from (booking HIGHLY recommended to avoid disappointment), but we particularly enjoyed eating crepes and drinking coffee at the local cafes in the mornings. It's a lovely town to simply wander around, and the market on a Tuesday morning is a real treat. All in all, this is the most wonderful property, on the outskirts of a lovely town, in the most beautiful part of France. Highly recommended.
