Country Villa Distance de marche de Valbonne Village

We loved staying here for our family holiday and hoping to return again next year! The property is in a fantastic location, easy and safe walk into Valbonne for beautiful cafes/shops/bars/restaurants. The house was spotless and very well equipped to a high spec. Lisa and Jeremy were excellent hosts and always responded quickly however we didn’t encounter any issues. We loved having the chickens pottering around the garden while we were there and the kids had great fun looking after them and collecting the eggs! Highly recommend!

Cannot speak more highly of this property. Such a lovely village with great options for all ages. Well located and short drive to Cannes and Antibes. Hosts were amazing and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is equipped with everything you would need. Would highly recommend the catered dinner option.

Jeremy & Lisa are very attentive hosts, going above and beyond to provide everything we needed, not just in the villa but also helping secure taxis and bike rental. The photos of the swimming pool make it look bigger than actually is, which disappointed one of our party who is a keen swimmer - more a pool to coll off in them swim lengths. Chickens are kept by the owners at the premises which does requires them to visit every 3 days, upside is fresh eggs! The front balcony and the garden table areas are fabulous both during the day and in the evening, when the garden is illuminated by fairy lights. Beds are comfy and bathrooms spacious and clean. Kitchen is well stocked. It is a 10 minute walk in to Valbonne, which has a great bakery for breakfast provisions, and numerous fabulous restaurants and bars. Valbonne is on a good bus route to Cannes throughout the day, however getting back late night from the coast to Valbonne needs a pre-booked taxi. A thoroughly enjoyable stay made possible by a lovely villa and considerate hosts.

The house is a traditional house within easy walking distance to Valbonne village. The hosts were helpful advising on places to eat, areas to visit and responsive if we encountered any issues with the property. The garden, pool area and Tiki bar were perfect for relaxing both day and night. The house is well equipped and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. We enjoyed meeting and looking after the free range house chickens although you don’t have to if you don’t want to they can remain in their pen. Overall we had a lovely break with our grown up family.
